Do any diet pills out there actually work? I am already starting to exercise and eat healthy...but I was?

Question:
wondering if any of those pills really do work to help speed up the weight loss process? Any suggestions I'd really appreciate!
probable not spelling this right but phentermine works great gives you lots of energy and controls hunger.
The best way to speed up the weight loss process and lose 12-16 pounds quickly is to cut off your head. I know; nasty visual and not very helpful, but I say that to illustrate a point: Diet pills and quick-weight-loss schemes are pretty much doomed to fail. People who resort to those methods gain all the weight back -- with interest -- 99.9% of the time. No one gains weight overnight, and anyone who is heavier than they want to be is that way because they developed habits that MADE them that way. Doesn't mean overweight people are "bad" or "lazy;" it just goes back to the old scientific principle of cause and effect. You eat more than your body needs and you gain weight. You don't exercise and you get flabby.

Now apply that to your situation. Let's say someone told you about some great diet pills that will help you lose the weight faster. That's the dietary and exercise equivalent of cheating on a test, and it WILL catch up with you. Diet pills and fat burners wreak havoc with your metabolism while you're on them (causing fun symptoms like anxiety, irritability, sleeplessness, heart palpitations, the list goes on and on) and they actually slow your metabolism down permanently, so once you stop taking them you have to eat less than someone who lost the weight slowly and safely, just to maintain your new "target" weight, FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

Your best bet is to stick with diet and exercise. It's a heck of a lot safer and has a much better track-record for long-term weight loss and maintaining the weight once you've lost it. Yes, it'll take longer to get there, and it will definitely take more time and effort, but hey, you're worth it, right?
No they do not!! Unless your content with gaining it all back ++ after you stop using. It will hurt your metabolism in the end, not to mention other nasty side affects. I've messed around with a number of things, so I'm not just basing this answer on info., rather experience. Eat right, exercise and enjoy some extra calories in moderation! I look better then ever, doing it the healthy way! And so will you! Keep up the good work!!
