Depends on the pills. Some have ephedra which is speed and can make your heart go crazy. Some prescription pills will do the same. But there are a lot of over the counter pills that probably won't hurt you. I have noticed that most come with a diet and exercise plan. I think if you follow the diet and exercise plan, you won't need the pills.
it depends for which person
they're GREAT for the person who sells them to gullible people who believe that the pills will help them. They're sold at high prices while the substances they contain are cheap!
for the person who takes them they can have nice short-term effects (less appetite, accelerated metabolism) which can induce some weight loss. But again this is not sustainable, and the minute you stop taking those pills, things go back to what they were.
the only way to lose weight is to eat less calories than your body needs, which will induce a deficit, which will force the body to draw from the reserves (fat).
good luck, and don't waste your money on those pills! Instead, visit more expensive restaurants serving leaner and better quality stuff, rather than all you can eat places (for example).
Diet pills can help to suppress your appetite, but probably won't have any significant results if you don't modify your diet and exercise.
In fact, 4 major diet pill makers were just sued for making false claims..

Yes.Because it always try to alter the natural system of the body.Either it's diuretic effect can make you go to the toilet often or it's super high caffeine content can keep you awake! Also.it
doesn't really work, bec usually the nutrients we need to increase our metabolism, etc are synergistic, that means they are working together not seperately. Not just"chosen"or"specific nutrient or function"can work alone in the body. They have to be taken in harmony with others. It's not as simple as it may sound!
