Do diet pills interact negatively with anti-depressants?

I didn't consult my dr. before starting diet pills. And I'm also on anti-depressants. Am I going to have a negative reaction and die?

I don't think diet pills are going to be very effective if you're on anti-depressants. Weight gain is a side effect, and often times no matter what you do, the weight won't budge. This is because the drugs have either altered your metabolism (i.e. created-not corrected- a chemical imbalance) or you actually had another problem that anti-depressants didn't fix, but instead masked some of the symptoms.
You're putting a lot of stress on your system if you're filling your body with various drugs. It's not healthy.
