What Diet Pills should be used for a diabetic type II to loose weight.?
Question:
Answer:
Forget the pills. You need to rearrange how you think about eating. Eat to live, don't live to eat. Learn all you can about healthy eating and do it. Exercise is important, but don't get overwhelmed thinking you have to "work out" all the time. You don't. A 20 to 30 minute walk everday is sufficient to get your metabolism going. Cut way back on meat and dairy, increase the vegetables, and avoid junk food... stick with whole grains. Read my weightloss page and my diabetes info page. If you do what I do, you will lose weight in your sleep... it's that easy.

I've been where you are... and there are no miracle drugs, no magic pills.
For weight loss try this:
1. Committment. Don't ever give up... never give up. Don't think of a slip up as failure, just another starting point.
2. Shut your mouth. You don't need to eat all that crap. And its mostly crap isn't it? Most of our problems isn't what we eat... its how much.
3. Get off your butt. You must exercise. Bottom Line: You must burn more calories that you take in.
Eating is a matter of how much you eat... not necessarily what it is. Find a site that will show you serving sizes. When you read labels, those numbers are "per serving" not the whole container. See that picture over there <<<< its my "I lost 80 pounds grin."
If you really need a boost to get you started, there is nothing like success to give you motivation. Ask your doctor about Xenical. If you eat a high-fat meal on Xenical, you'll learn real fast not to do that again.
Good Luck!
As has been said already, FORGET THE PILLS. When you eat for 5 or 10 minutes, push away from the table. It's a matter of limiting what you put into your mouth.
No Diet Pills are proven to work!! Especially with DMII you wouldn't want to take any chances with any herbal pills because they could have anything in them! Some studies have shown OTC diet pills to have plenty of stuff in them that isn't even on the labels!!
As for prescription pills, there is Xenical (orlistat) which is probably the safest pill to try, but it has some interesting side effects which might change your mind. There is also Meridia (sibutramine), but this drug has its cardiovascular risks which make it hard to find enough benefit to take it.
And the bottom line is that you can't take these pills (OTC or precription) forever. When you stop, it will all come back unless you've changed your lifestyle anyways. Hardly worth it in my opinion!!
Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").
The Hoodia sold at http://tinyurl.com/y389on is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.
