Most diet pills don't work, they just said on the news that the FDA is suing a bunch of diet pill mfr's due to false claims and false advertising. If you have good eyes, you will see that just about all diet pill advertisements state that all of their claims have not been tested or approved by the FDA, and that's something to look out for.
The ones to never believe are the ones where they have a person in a white coat claiming to be a dr, backing their product. A 20/20 episode found that of the ones they contacted, none of them were real doctor's.
It's best to google the name of the product you want to try, and see what is said about it.
Just be careful and do your research.

Diet pills work but you only see a huge difference if you do lots of exercising anong with eating more healthier. i haven't heard of any that caused serious health problems though.
