Hoodia diet pills, are they really safe? I have controlled high BP and can't take alot of thistype thing?

Question:
was wondering what you all know about this stuff? Thanks

Answer:
Hoodia diet pills that contain 100% authentic hoodia gordonii have been proven to be safe so far. I say "so far" because they don't have a long track record since they're relatively new compared to other diet pills that have been on the market for many years.

Hoodia gordonii is a cactus-like plant that is found in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa. It has been used for centuries by the San tribe, or Bushmen, to stave off hunger during long hunting trips.

The hoodia gordonii plant contains a molecule known as P57 that is responsible for the plant's appetite suppressant qualities. This molecule tricks the brain into thinking it is full. That is all hoodia gordonii does. It does not burn fat, increase metabolism, or "magically" melt the fat away. It just makes you feel full.

Hoodia gordonii is all-natural, is safe, and has virtually no side effects (some have reported a minor upset stomach). Many people mistakenly believe that hoodia is a stimulant or some other dangerous drug. It is nothing of the sort.

Now, is hoodia safe for people with blood pressure issues? Probably. I'm no doctor, but having studied and researched hoodia diet pills for over a year now, I have not seen any studies or reports of hoodia having any effect on blood pressure. Having said that, if you are taking medications for your blood pressure or have any concerns at all, PLEASE consult your doctor.

Chances are your doctor will say hoodia is safe, but it doesn't hurt to verify. Plus, if your doctor gives you the o.k., he/she can monitor your results to make sure it's not affecting your blood pressure. Like I said, given what hoodia is and how it works - and based on my research, you're probably o.k. but check with your doctor first.

If your doctor gives you the "all clear," be sure you only take hoodia diet pills that contain authentic hoodia gordonii. There are a lot of fakes out there. In fact, a study was done by a consumer advocacy group and they had 17 of the most popular hoodia brands tested. Only 6 were found to contain authentic hoodia gordonii!

Two products that not only passed the test but continue to pass the test for authenticity are Desert Burn hoodia and Hoodoba Pure. What I also like about these two products is that they don't contain any other ingredients other than hoodia gordonii so they are very safe - and can be very effective if taken as part of an overall weight loss program.

I've provided links to full reviews of these two products below. In addition, I've provided a link to a buyer's checklist that will help you find the best hoodia diet pills yourself if you feel that Desert Burn and Hoodoba Pure don't meet your needs.

Best of luck to you.

pills are actually bad i went to my dc. and he said if you tack pills you have to be on a strik diet for the reast of you life!
I spent $150. on some Hoodia pills I saw advertised on the internet. (supposedly my pills are the "real" Hoodia) I took them exactly as instructed etc. etc. I couldn't see where they made any difference whatsoever. I didn't have any "bad" side effects, but they didn't really help any at all. I was just as hungry after taking them. I have moderately high BP which is controlled ...they didn't affect my bp...but, as I said, they didn't help with my weight loss plans either.
It works pretty well but I use Desert Burn Brand not Trim Spa.. There is alot more pure product in Desert Burn 750 mg. Trim Spa only has 200 mg. I believe. You need to do some more research my b/p is not low and it doesn't seem to affect it but I also do not take bp meds to regulate so I'd be afraid to advise any different than contact a company rep. for desert bun and see what they say.
No pills are safe... they all have side effects. Warning, the FDA considers death a "side effect"
There isnt much science based research yet, but they appear to be ok. However, if you are truly looking to lose weight, Its not really the best. Have you heard of the Glycemic Index? Check it out. Also, Usana Health Sciences has a scientific proven way to lose weight in a healthy way and their supplements are of Pharaceutical Grade. (you can even get their products at 10% of wholesale if you ask)
