thank you very much!

Answer:
Diet pills do not work.
They seem to work for a while because you're actually losing weight when you start using them and that is why people are lured to them. In reality, diet pills do more damage than good by messing up your metabolism and your whole system. In the long run, you will eventually regain all the weight you have lost and then some, and also end up endangering your health.
The pill that you can take and lose weight safely and for ever does not exist yet, unfortunately.
In the meantime, you just need to educate yourself about how your body works, how much calories you need every day, how much you are consuming, how much more you would be able to consume if you move a little more or build stronger muscles through weight training and exercise (you can find tons of books on the subject and you can also go online to numerous sites for info, just not the sites about diet pills).
Eat less and excercise! Diet pills are no good for you. If you are really serious about losing weight, then you have to be serious about a healthy diet and lifestyle.
If you are going to use diet pills the ONLY safe way is to be monitored by a doctor. I have used them and am currently using them. I am on Phentermine (brand name: Fastin). They ONLY work if you are seriously willing to make lifestyle changes. The first time I used them they worked great b/c I watched my portions. The 2nd time I used them I expected them to do it all and they did not. Both times were over 9 years ago. Now I am on them and I have lost approx 60 pounds but I HAVE to exercise and watch my portions. I do not eat near as much as I use to and I realize I am full! To keep eating just b/c it tastes good is what puts the weight on. If I want chocolate or something that is "fatty" I eat it, I just do not go overboard. Before my doctor would prescribe them I had to have blood work, an echocardiogram, an EKG, have my blood pressure checked regularly and I had to lose some on my own first. Over the counter stuff DOES NOT WORK. Be careful. If not done right, it could cause serious health problms.
Proper diet is still the key to losing weight the healthy way, but for someone like me, who's stomach always seems to feel hungry, I need an appetite suppressant.
I started using Hoodia day before yesterday, and it really helps! It does not take the place of being careful to eat the best you can, but it helps with not craving more than you need.
Email me if you'd like the name of the company I got my sample from. I can't remember it off hand, but I can find it for you.
