Do any diet pills actually work?
Question:
Answer:
no, but somebody is making lots of money though....
The best thing you can do to lose weight and keep it off is to stay active-walking is great-and eat healthy-natural foods not processed. That is the easiest way to lose and to keep it off. Pills may help boost your metabolism, but they can also be harmful. There have been many recalls of diet pills involving heart problems, etc., that, personally, I would rather not have to worry about. Once you start eating healthy, then you're set for life! With pills, it's a roller coaster and russian roulette!!
Be safe. Be healthy. Be smart.
no because if they did north America wouldn't have a rampid obesity epidemic and if they did work there wouldn't be a new one coming out every other day the only thing that works is a overhaul in you're life style and healthy eating and exercise
My doctor prescribed me phentermine and it helped get me started, I lost 60 pounds but I also changed my diet and walked/ran on the treadmill daily. The doctor said that if I wouldn't have changed any of my habits and only took the pill that I would have lost probaly no more than a total of 10pounds. Like I said it helped get me motivated
not for anyone i know! sadly i think you just have to face it and get exercising and eating properly (as long as you can still treat yourself..for those special occasions of course..) i think people would be better off using the money to pay for the gym or if you would prefer doing something worthwhile why not buy some decent walking shoes and volunteer for dog walking at your nearest shelter or join a group that offers something more worthwhile for your effort to make you actually get moving and not just flop down on the sofa with chocolate and bottle of wine..ummm..tempting..gyms are boring, get out there and have some fun!
hey swty
i hope ill change your mind about diet pills!or the tought of trying them!
about 2 yrs ago i tried the diet pills called "stim & trim"ive tried them for a week and i learned what the word addicted means!i wasnt fat,but they gives you some energy that i found it was very great since i work very long hours.the problem was that the first thing they had done was changing my moods, and i really hated it but as i told you before i was addicted to them!from weight 58 now i weight 52 when my height is 1.70..at the moment im at home trying to recover from a 4 mounths sickness, thats why i had answered you, cause i dont wish that someone has to try this things..the answer to your question is yes dear they do work if you think its worthit to loose your health ! im sick cause i cant even stand up for 5 mins !i feel very weak and when before i liked myself today i feel very very foolish !
dont try pills believe me,those really work but they will never give you the body that you wish!instead try exercise and a good diet!
most of them do work, except most people do not utilize them properly. you want to get the body into fat burning mode through the diet and increased level of activity. once you have achieved fat loss then you add in the diet pill, fat burner, etc. to aid the process
You may loose £s but not lbs!
Look around you if ANY of these things worked would we be getting so overweight?
We are what we eat, but we are at least as much what we don't do. Calorie intakes in 1900 and 1950 were higher than they are now, we just don't use them up!
Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruit and veg.
Take a healthy amount of exercise 30-40 minutes of vigorous exercise per day 4-5 days a week. I hate to think what percentage of the UK population does that 2%? 5%?
I have seen hundreds of questions with this same pattern :- I am fat, tell me where on line I can get this super diet or herbal/dangerous/illegal drug that I hear will fix it for me in 10 minutes without the need for me to get off the couch!
No fixes pal , less in more out, its the only way.
