Please, what is the best over the counter diet pill?
Question:
Please, what is the best over the counter diet pill for some has a moderate amount of weight to lose and otherwise healthy. Had a Total Knee Replacement recently, exercise is limited for the next 6 months!
Answer:
Hello! This question caught my eye, because in your situation you have to be extremely careful. I wouldn't recommend diet pills, simply because they don't work! It's another fad that proves the gullibility of consumers who are much smarter. You are severely limited in the amount of exercise you can do. Because of this, if you were to begin taking this pill, you will lose mostly protein from your muscles, glycogen stores, and water. Most of the fat will remain, and when you are able to resume a normal fitness program, you will be very weak. I would not suggest taking the pills. Instead, do what you can. Do you have access to an arm ergometer? Use resistance bands for your upper body. Strengthen your core with oblique and transverse abdominal exercises. And most importantly, eat healthy! I hope this helps you.

I wouldn't take anything until you were ready to work out. Everyone reacts differently to diet pills (most because they have never had caffiene before lol) So I would definatly say that you shouldn't take it while you're not working out. I would take something like Hydroxycut before I worked out just to give me a boost and not anymore. They all pretty much have the same ingredients in them if you read them. I would get more info on them before you decide to take them. I only think they're good for taking for energy beforehand. That way you don't become immune to them and you don't over do it. I'm going to be honest, the won't make you lose weight just by taking them. You have to work out and eat healthy.
Good luck!
I just read your question a few weeks ago. I just wanted to say that if it made you feel sick, try starting out with one before you work out, wait till you feel you have energy and then work out. Don't take it according to the directions, cause that's a lot of pills in a day!
