I know a lot of people who blow thousands a year on diet pills and they never work I'm not sure maybe the ones they buy but I would recommend you don't buy em.
Are you talking about: FEN-PHEN (or vice-versa)? It was discontinued as a joint/combination diet regimine as it caused HEART VALVE problems ! One of the fens/phens (I cant remember which one the fen or the phen is still used singularly for weight loss, but isn't very effective! And I would steer clear of it! There is another one called MERIDIA which will absolutely have the weight drop off of you and I'm not sure of any problems with it. Go to WEB.MD and check it out, if the benefits outwiegh the risks your doctor may prescribe it, but you must have an EKG before use -- if your doctor doesn't give you this test b4 prescribing , he is a bad doctor and may be in violation of the law if he does so! I believe your heart must be checked b4 prescribing this drug. Don't take it for more then 4 months (6 at the very most) and then you will have to stick to your new eating habits or you'll gain the weight, plus some, right back!
I heard tonight that there is a new drug that tricks the brain coming out in 3 years and will be safe. It may mean none of us will ever be fat again! It is very promising!
