Chantix (stop smoking) and diet pills?

Question: Is it okay to take a mild diet supplement while on Chantix?

Answer:
When I took Chantix the doctor didn't tell me to avoid any diet supplements. She actually advised that I work on weight control at the same time to try and limit the effects of an increased appetite and decreased metabolism that would come from quitting smoking.

Good luck quitting! I took Chantix from October through December. I haven't had a cigarette since October!
