Any know of a good diet or diet pill. please read before you run your mouth?

Question:
I am constantly dieting it seems. I always diet for a few days or weeks then fall right back into those bad habits. I would just try throwing away all junk food and keeping only carrots and water in my fridge but my husband lives with me and is naturally thin and eats junk food all the time no veggies. We also eat out alot! I used to take stackers with ephedra and they really helped me lose alot of weight but they are gone now. Any ideas? If you make a rude fat joke I will report you!

Answer:
haha i have the same exact problem... my boyfriend is skinny and eats like a pig..(we never have left overs) and he does not gain one ounce it makes me sick because i eat unhealthy with him but i gain mine and his weight.. i started taking hoodia and it curved my appetite but i felt like when i got off the pills i ate more than usual.. if you find a cure make sure you inform me haha!
WHat about yellow jackets..they burn fat its sorta like stackers...ever tried the weight watchers diet? my friend lost a lot of weight it really works
well good luck i am dieting too.husband sheesh i know how you feel.if you find a good 1 let me know
try hoodia it will work a lot slower but it suppresses the appetite so you eat less and that will help you lose weight
sorry there are no quick fixes. but i am experienced with your dilemma. i think an active life style is the best answer. take it very slow, do something fun like dancing first. you don't want to become malnutritioned like your husband anyway.
try working on your portion sizes...you can still eat the same kind of food, just eat less. If you go out to eat, ask for a to-go box as soon as you get your food. Put half or a little more in the to-go box and close it. This will cut down on temptation. Soon, your stomach will start to shrink and you will feel "full" faster. This may sound odd to you but I lost over 75 lbs. working at McDonalds and eating there at least five days a week.
you must learn to substitute. Its not a guarentee but i lost 70 pounds in 6 months, simply by substituting juice and water for soda, and fish and chicken for red meat. also, snacking is an easy road to failure, don't eat if youre not hungry! Give it a try it may reveal the same results as it did 4 me!
even though your husband is naturally thin, getting his support in changing your habits will be wonderful!! if he eats healthy, this can help to motivate you to as well. and if you are both eating healthy he can benefit as well by lowering his risk for chronic disease (just b/c he is thin, doesnt mean he cant get heart disease etc). so, now that both of you are on a health beat, stock your house with fruits and veggies and eat more whole grains. try to tone down how much you eat out, and if you do eat out, dont clean the plate, leave some because portion sizes are so outrageous. additionally, order foods that are baked, or broiled, not fried.
additionally, add in some physical activity. summer is coming on, and a great time to get outside! start easy by going for walks. each day, increase your walking time to work up to a level you can maintain. even add in some brisk walking. or grab a girlfriend and go for a walk instead of a coffee and have a nice gabfest while exercising.
with diet and exercise you can make a positive change in your life.
good luck!!
There is no diet or diet pill that will work long term! You have to modify your eating habits and eat differently. Keep fruit around, veggies with a low fat/cal dip. But most importantly exercise. I don't mean join a gym but just get out and walk with your hubby early mornings or late evenings. He will probably love the time together and will support your effort. I lost 45 lbs doing this and have kept it off for 3 years so far--and I am almost 57. Good luck--it's hard to start but the effort is well rewarded!
Have you talked with your doctor? Diets and diet pills only provide temporary weight loss and could be dangerous. I've taken diet pills sold at markets and health stores and found out the side effects cause more problems than the extra weight. I got dizzy taking Dexatrim. I tried Chromium, but found that I needed more and more each time.

What you want to do is find a healthy way of eating and be able to eat this way for life. You can still eat out, just be more aware of what foods are good to eat. A lot of restaurants offer a healthier menu for those watching his/her weight. My husband and I have decide to eat healthier. It helps to have someone to do this with so that you can motivate each other.
Topamax(serious medicine)-Read the link I left below. It's not a diet pill, but will definately supress your appetite. But please, stop eating out and eat good low-fat meals and walk 40 minutes daily. That doesn't mean salads. That salad dressing is fattenning too. Make yourself some nice dinners at home. It's the oil, the sauces, the cheese, the creams, the maynaise, where people go wrong. Go to Jenny Craigs if you have to learn how to cook without fat. Good luck.

It almost impossible to lose weight and eat out in the US. You guys have WAY TO much good food. I'm from Canada and I've never seen so many buffets, lol
I feel your pain. I had the best success when my Dr. prescribed Meridia and the South Beach Diet. Meridia is not without risks, so you must get it from your Dr. and be honest about your health history (especially eating disorders) and make sure he knows ANY other medications you might be taking. It does not mix well with certain meds and can have serious/fatal reactions. But, taken properly it really suppresses appetite. I only took it for a short time while getting started on the South Beach Diet. Once I started seeing results I was able to stop taking it under the Dr's supervision and lost almost 40 lbs.

Asking your Dr is a good idea either way. He/she may suggest a plan that is right for you. good luck!
i would recommend leptoprin-sd. i use it for energy because coffee just doesnt do it for me in the morning but it is also an effective appitite supressant. start with 2 in the morining. if you are not sensetive to caffine like my self take three. that should keep you going all day. and dont take it every day you may get a headache, use it for three days then take a day off then start again. i took it for 2 weeks straight and got a headache. but i love it i also lost 5 lbs the first week and about 2 lbs a week after that which is good. what ever you do try to keep the weight loss at 1-2 lbs a week but no more than 5 that is healthy. i started using it after i had my last baby and i am happy with the results. there is also a generic brand called leptopril. i never used that but i here its much cheaper. i have heard good things about hoodia also let me know what you find :) good luck!
I understand how you feel. And, I get frustrated ALL the time. My daughter is 14 yrs. old and can eat just about anything and will not gain weight. My husband is in the military and he doesn't like fruit and I have to put sugar on his vegetables in order for him to eat it. He ALWAYS wants to go out and eat too. So, I understand your frustration. This is what worked for me. My Dr. recommened The Medifast Diet. It is Soy Protein. It teaches you to eat 5-6 small meals a day every 2-3 hours to speed up your metabolism. You will lose weight quickly with very little exercise. I have lost 30 lbs. so far. If you want the number to Medifast just e-mail me at lovejae247@yahoo.com
I'm on phentermine, which is prescription. I take the 30's. They also come in 15 and 37.5. I've lost 30 lbs this year taking them (since March), combined with slim-fast 10 meals a week and working out 4 hours a week.

Carrots are good but very high in sugar. You need to eat green veggies too.

Your husband needs to be more supportive--try to talk to him. Or ask him to keep his junk food in the car or locked in a place you can't get to, and not to eat it in front of you.

My husband always sabotaged my diets and then he went on Atkins and I refused to stop having bread in the house and all he did was complain to me about how hard it was not to eat the "forbidden" foods I had around. Now he knows what I felt like. He's been a lot better this time around.

You can read about phentermine on the below site but DON'T buy from there. It's wickedly expensive, 3x what it would cost to get it from a local pharmacy with a local prescription.
