What are the dangers of diet pills?

like the diet pill Farenheit, and after taking only one pill instead of two I get really energetic and jittery and a fast heart beat and all, but I want to know if that is a dangerous affect on the body, or it's just how it is and it's not really gonna kill me or anything.
Irregular heartbeat is dangerous. Can lead to death. Jittery is the nervous system.
well the first thing you have to watch for is that they can become very addictive. we have patients on them for years, people who shouldn't take them, but for whatever reason doctors still write it for them. second, they can cause your heart to speed up, and even if you are in good condition it can mess with your system. i honestly think that the best way to loose weight is not in a bottle, but in the self control. it's not easy for it is the best and healthest way to loose weight.

ANY diet pills can lead to an irregular heart rate and increased blood pressure whether herbal or not. Just because they say it's herbs or natural doesn't mean it's safer. It's just different ingredients. Uncontrolled high blood pressure can lead to damage to the vessel walls which can lead to serious medical problems. Taking diet pills is very risky and some people have died from them especially if they take them not knowing they already have high blood pressure or a heart condition. It's not worth the risk.
You should have your blood pressure checked while you are on these, if it increases your blood pressure to unhealthy levels the ultimate POTENTIAL bad consequence of that would be a stroke.
They can damage the walls of your heart and your heart valves etc. Ephedrine is one ingredient you always want to stay away from but it works. That's the bad thing
