Why shouldn't you take diet pills when you are pregnant or nursing?
Question:
Answer:
Diet pills are bad for your body even when you're not pregnant. You can take next to nothing when you're pregnant, as it can be very harmful to the fetus. Just ask your doctor. You shouldn't be trying to lose when you're pregnant either. You need to eat healthy so the baby will be healthy, especially if you plan on nursing. If you're on diet pills, stop taking them & confront your doctor with the truth.
Because many medications go through the blood stream to the fetus and/or through the breast milk to the baby. These drugs are not safe for babies, unborn or otherwise.
you could effect your baby.your baby could be drug posoned or way to small to live (babys are very sensitive!!)
For the same reason you shouldn't smoke or drink alcohol when pregnant or nursing, everything you take in is shared with the baby! I think you need to educate yourself about pregnancy if you seriously didn't know this.Read some books!
mostly because you should not be losing weight when pregnant and because a lot of diet pills boost the metabolism and this is very dangerous for the health of anyone who is pregnant. there are some all natural weight loss supplements that can be used during pregnancy that ensure you do not put on too much baby weight, try www.myhealthabc.com and speak to the nutritionist guy there, he can advise on what is safe for your particular situation. I used him when I had both my kids and afterwards to help lose the baby weight, he is great and so are the combinations of things he recommends.
