Could someone explain to me why so many people are against diet pills.?
Question:
Answer:
1. Because most diet pills are just a form of speed.
2. Because they have side effects, so you can't take them forever - once you stop, the weight comes back.
3. Because diet pills are a poor substitute for what you shopuld be doing - eating healty foods in smaller portions and getting some excercise.
they have a reputation as being a quick fix and that once stopped the weight will return plus some
Diet pills..no matter the brand..dont always work for people. While this drug works for you, it may cause people to lose an excessive amount of weight(which, in the long run, is NOT what they wanted), or even causes them to GAIN weight. These pills obviously work for some people, but many are afraid to try them.. How do they know if it will HELP them, or DESTROY them??
Most diet pills used to part Amphetermine (speed). But a friend of mine told me thats been banned - she's a pharmasist. But the problem with diet pills (and many many others) is you become dependant on them. First its just your body that needs them- and depending on the person it can become a mental thing - addiction is hard to fight. that combined with the often desperate desire to become thin - It's a recipe for disaster. Plus alot of people need to find an alternate drug if/ when they have to stop using the pills. which that is if they haven't already starved themselves to death can lead to even bigger problems. Diet pills are one of the most addictive types of drugs on the market - are they really wortth it

Diet pills are fraudulent I use to take them and they did'nt do me any good. They say that tropical fruit extracts that is put in them 'burns' fat. Totally untrue.
Diet pills in the past have become adictive They can cause heart problems. the newer ones can cause diarrear. In the long run they tend not to work. A friend of mine lost about 15 stone then stopped taking them put loads of weight back on and is now back on them. I have tried all the pills over 30 years and they did not help me at all
