New FDA Diet Pill?

Question:
I was wondering if any of you have heard about Alli and if it works? I could stand to lose about 15 pounds. Thanks!!

Answer:
Yes, I have heard about it. It is a watered down version of the prescription med Xenical. (but it will still work) It will be out by June 15th though, and no sooner.

Good luck
no diet and excirese is the way to go the pills have sideffects and its just to messy.
The best way to lose weight is eat healthy and exercise. I'm where you are (15 - 20 lbs to lose) but a pill isn't the answer for us. What happens when you stop taking the pill?

Pills typically benefit the obese, who have serious issues controlling their hunger. Approved weight loss pills, under a doctor's supervision, can help the very heavy down their path to weightloss and better health.

For those with a lot less pounds to lose, there's no point using pills, fad diets, or gimmicks. All those things do for us is help us lose weight in an unnatural (and often unhealthy) fashion, and then we stop using them and put it right back on (and more). As with anyone (overweight or not) we need to learn to eat a healthy, well-balanced diet and to exercise regularly.

I've got the exercise part down, but the food part gets me. I like to eat. Make a lifestyle change...don't go on a 'diet' and you'll find you'll be healthier, and will be less likely to have to keep re-losing those same pounds over and over.

Good luck!
