Diet supplements/pills?


Question:
Any have any experiences, good or bad, or recommendations for some diet pills to take to boost my metabolism/lose weight? I workout and try to eat healthy, but I always have that 5-10lb fluctuation. I am heading to the beach over July 4th and want something to keep that 10lbs at bay.

Diet pills arent the best thing in the world. A lady whom works with my mother was taking them and she has a mild heart atack. The tend to contain harmful things. Do you drink soda? If so try to cut out your soda a few week before you go. I lost eighteen pounds by just eliminating soda and walking.
An ephedra supplement works pretty good.
Zena lean is one that's out there but its not too great.

Go to a vitamin store and check it out. Follow the instructions and its safe.

Also, try cutting out every liquid but water(Including beer)

* EDIT : While diet soda is better than regular...nothing is better than just water, and diet soda has plenty of things in it(obviously) that water does not.
I took this stuff called "trimlife"...its an "energy" pill..not the trimspa stuff.

Anyways, it did sorta work.wanted to lose weight, but wasn't overly worried about it, so wasn't really monitoring my weight loss that closely.

IT did its job on energy too.which was a bad thing. I already have a sleeping problem and it made it worse.

Also made me have to go to the bathroom a little more often. I'm in school right now and against public restrooms, so i'd end up skipping classes so i could use a toilet i trust.

My dad's a doctor too, i asked him for the pills and he said he rather me not take them.

OH...and i noticed someone say cut soda. Good point. I did lose 20 lbs...but over like 6 months, by cutting soda. My weight only fluctates about 5 lbs.but essentially stayed in the same range. Soda helped.

Another thing that i found that works is orange juice with pulp. I glass of OJ has about the same calories as a glass full of soda, but the pulp makes you full and you drink a lot less.

***hmm...diet might not be adding much i guess. Water though all around is better for you i guess. If its caffienated it'll dehydrate you.but probably don't have to worrya bout cutting soda****
