How can I lose 50 pounds in 2 months with out using diet pills?

Question:
I'm 13 and kind of overweight...I want to be a size 2/3 cuz' thats the size all my friends are (and they are really healthy)...How can I lose around 50 pounds in 2 months without using diet pills?
P.S. I'm 4'11"

Answer:
Yes do not use pills!
1. Because most diet pills are just a form of speed.

2. Because they have side effects, so you can't take them forever - once you stop, theweight comes back.

3. Because diet pills are a poor substitute for what you shopuld be doing - eating healty foods in smaller portions and getting some excercise.

I doubt you can SAFETLY lose that much weight in 2 months. I would ask your mom to help you to find a dietician or references on the web and start a program that will take awhile but constant. And IF after exercising and eating right still doesn't drop the weight, we're all basically different; your worth is found in your heart, not your waist size.
since your so young i advise you to talk to your parents so they can take you to a nutritionist and trainer to help you lose it the healthy way.plus i read an add for "curves gym" they have an offer if your mom makes a membership you can go free for 3 months
That is a lot of weight to lose in that short amount of time, and probably is not healthy. Studies show that the faster you lose weight the more likely you are to regain that amount plus some in the future.
It is called yo-yo dieting and it is not safe or healthy. Particularly if you are a teen and your hormones and metabolism are not yet balanced.

I suggest starting on a healthy diet consisting of about 1,600 daily calories and 20-25 fat grams a day, and an exercise program: Cardio, walking, swimming or a sport, for at least 30 minutes daily.
You probably won't lose 50 pounds in two months, but you will be more likely to have consistent weight loss that you can be more assured of keeping off in the future, and you will establish a healthier lifestyle that you can keep with you always.

Good Luck...
Oh dear. You really should not focus on a number like 50lbs. You might be able to lose that much in two months if you are very obese and have a lot to lose but if you are just a little overweight, or even 50lbs overweight it's not likely. And you would end up gaining the weight back because you would not be able to continue to eat the way you did (or rather, didn't) to lose the weight.

Seriously, the best thing you can do is eat more of what's good and less of what's bad for you. And get some exercise. Boring as it might sound, it's the only thing that works.

It doesn't have to be that difficult. Try making sure you get 4 vegetables, 3 fruits, 2 servings of lean protein and one 'extra' like a cookie or a popsicle, everyday. 4 3 2 1...plus drink a whole glass of water every time you eat something. You'll feel great and the weight will come off.
You can't. Not even if you starve yourself, and don't do that.

What you can do is start making progress on your goal of being more healthy. The curves gym idea above is a good one, or maybe just start playing a sport in school (even if you aren't the best player on the team, it would be good exercise.) You can also do some research on healthy eating habits at www.calorielab.com and www.spartafit.com.

Being heathy isn't something you do for two months. It's a lifestyle choice that has to be maintained all the time. But its fun once you're used to it and its well worth the effort.

Again. DO NOT starve yourself. Unless you want to stay 4'11" forever, you need to eat to grow. Just eat the right kinds of foods, and try for six small meals a day instead of three big ones. There is all kinds of information on healthy eating out there. Take the time to educate yourself and you'll be glad you did.

Good luck!
I highly recommend checking out the asian noodle diet. My girlfriend told me about it a few weeks back and it has done wonders for me. The website that she sent me to was http://www.asiannoodlediet.com Good luck and God bless.
