NO, but Try this FIRST FDA APPROVED Diet pill called "Alli" It was just released on the news this morning~!! I am excited.
ur doctor probably got a kickback from pharmaceutical companies in order to prescribe that to you. he got PAID to prescribe that drug..so u or your insurance co can spend $$ and pay for the docs new mercedes or vacation in the bahamas.
stay away from diet pills. if u want to lose weight do it the HEALTHY way. it'll take time. i suggest u go to a new doctor who can offer nutritional advice or nutritionist to discuss your diet. remember, losing weight doesnt always have to do with eating less. its about discipline and controlling the mind. pills are the lazy way out. if you can change a lazy mind into being more disciplined and discriminate in what you put in your body then you will be all set.
your body is a temple. this includes your mind. please treat it that way.
IMO nobody should take diet pills unless they have employed a strict clean diet and cardio/lifting routine for a few months. Im not trying to bag on you but every one is trying to find the easy way out by taking diet pills but no one wants to put in the hard work. My dad is that way he just started taking diet pills and i told him you need to workout first its supplements meaning it only aids in fat loss doesnt do it for you. Stick to a diet of no carbs, calories, fat, sugar, salt and etc. Keep protein high with lean meats like fish and chicken. Eat dark leafy veggies not root like veggies like potatoe and etc. Keep fruit low too because even tho the vitamins are great in them most of them have tons of simply sugar. Try cardio every other day for 30 minutes to 1 intensely examples: running, biking, power walking and swimming (best IMO) And some high volume moderate poundage weightlifting. These are just a few ideas

Xenical isn't just a "diet pill" like the crap you can buy off eBay. It's a prescription drug that stops the body absorbing a significant percentage of the fat eaten. The non-absorbed fat is then passed from the body when you go to the toilet. It has to be used in conjunction with a healthier diet and consumption of too much fat in the diet can lead to unwanted side-effects such as diarrhoea (gross but true)
Normally only used for people who are medically obese. Your doctor should also have given you health and diet support and nutritional info.
Used properly - has had good results.

no i have never used them personally but i have friends who have and i would not advice you to take them if you cant constantly set to a toilet
burn more calories then you consume, no pill will dot his for you. it will only help metabolise the calories into energy more productively. its an AID in fat loss
without proper eating, you wont go anywhere.
these pill block your body absorbing fats from the food you eat. This fat is then excreted via your poo. Consequently, you must be careful not to eat a diet too high in fat as your stools will be very oily as a result. A colleague of mine used this pill and became incontinent because he ate too much fat and couldnt control the oil seeping from his back passage.
My field is in fashion, as a result many people ask me how they can slim down. My answer is always the same: good diet and exercise. But I found this great product which I think helps a lot in the process. I recommend you check this website
http://www.greatiguide.info , they have a free trial and you only pay 6.95$ shipping and handling. Good luck!
Hope you are fully aware of this :-

definitely not my cup of tea
It is the oestrogen in your body that causes weight gain. American farmers are allowed to add oestrogen to their cattle feed so that the cattle gain weight faster. Fortunately we do not add oestrogen to the cattle food in Europe.
... an aside
Optimal Health Guidelines
"One of them, 17 beta-estradiol is banned by the European Union on Scientific Committee on Veterinary Medicine since it is considered a "complete carcinogen ... [that] exerts both tumor initiating and tumor promoting effects."
The sub text of that is don't eat beefburgers or hamburgers and low quality beef if and when you visit the United States.
... back to main story
Oestrogen causes the same effect on humans if we are "oestrogen dominant" we cannot lose weight permanently but will yo-yo between being too heavy and our “target weight.”
If we are "oestrogen dominant" food is converted to fat. If there is adequate progesterone (hormone balance) both food and fat can be converted to energy.
I would like to suggest that you do the on line hormone tests at www.hormoneprofile.com or www.johnleemd.com
If they recommend you obtain hormones please have a saliva test done see www.npis.info or www.salivatest.com.
A saliva test will check out active hormones something that blood tests do not.
If a hormone is suggested by the saliva test please take the dose suggested for you. Size 10 shoes are not twice as good if you have size 5 feet.
The WHO (World Health Organisation) uses saliva tests.
A transcript of a John Lee talk - this explains why for hormones a blood test is worthless. Blood tests find hormones but they are the one on their way out of the body. They are not the active hormone levels.

One woman's search for the cure for her illness 1997 revised 2002
http://www.ylcf.org/hormone-imbalance/01... - 33.htm yes about 30 odd pages
http://www.ylcf.org/hormone-imbalance/06... lists the things that may occur due to hormone imbalance
If you want a second opinion I'd suggest one of the doctors on the www.npis.info list. Also on this site there other women's stories.
If you search elsewhere on the web for “natural progesterone” or “natural progesterone weight” you may come across many stories.
At www.hormoneprofile.com there is quite a bit of information on how hormones work. The “pink card” is also there showing when to take them
The books are available on Amazon uk (if not see www.johnleemd.com), I find it is easier to find the information in the books than browsing the web.
This is a long term solution not a quick fix
Hope this helps ..
