Has any one heard of the new diet pill "Alli"?
Question:
What about side affects?
Answer:
Yes, I've heard of it and actually researched it. It is the same concept as the old Orlistat--it blocks your body from absorbing fat. So, if you eat more than about 20-30% fat, sorry to be gross, but you poop it out. It's pretty disgusting and the side effects are terrible.
Back in my battle to lose 100lbs (I used to weight 285lbs!) I tried Orlistat. That lasted about a week, because it caused me to have all the really nasty side effects. I wasn't about to live a life of embarrassment just to lose the few pounds that came with taking the drug.
If you are looking for fast results, please consider checking out http://www.kimkins.com/467.html... I have been doing Kimkins for a week and I have lost 13.5lbs already! It really does work with no crazy gimmicks.

I haven't tried it yet, but really want to. It only has side effects if you eat more than 15 grams of fat per meal. If you do eat more fat then you'll be in the bathroom a lot! But they say there are no side effects as long as you're eating less than 15 grams of fat. I've read all about this pill. If you have any other questions, let me know!
From all the research I have read, it does work as long as you commit to all the guidelines, which includes not eating fat, exercising, and eating correctly. It is also expensive, so it's not something that should be taken without the commitment
If you’re willing to challenge yourself, to do things differently, then you can experience weight loss success. But if you aren’t committed to limiting your fat intake and calories as part of the program, then you shouldn’t buy alli
My strong advice is: DO NOT TAKE IT!
Here's why: First, per the Alli website, they recommend no more than 15 grams of fat per meal to avoid "treatment effects." Then the site tells you that Alli blocks about 25% of the fat you eat. So let's assume that you actually eat only 15 grams of fat and Alli blocks 25% -- that's 3.75 grams of fat blocked. Each gram is 9 calories. You saved slightly less than 34 calories during that meal! If you do the math out to how many times you have to do that to lose an entire pound just because of Alli -- you're talking about more than month!
So basically, you can lose the exact same thing just by choosing to cut back 100 calories each day on your own. Without paying out a whole lot of cash!
And the second reason is what I mentioned above -- those "treatment effects" which they try to politely phrase, but what they really mean is that you can have explosive gas with an oily discharge from your anus, along with uncontrollable diarrhea. They recommend wearing dark clothing, and taking a change of clothing with you in case you poop in your pants.
There's a better way, I promise! Research Atkins, South Beach, and low carb dieting in general. It's safe, it controls weight, cholesterol, blood pressure, diabetes -- and you don't take a pill!
If it's FDA approved it must be good right? In the clinical trials that the FDA based their approval on people who tested it only lost 1 pound per month, that's barely effective in my opinion. It works by blocking some of the fat normally digested by the intestine. But the gross thing is guess where the fat ends up? The side effects include diarrhea, anal leakage, Fatty/oily stool, oily spotting, intestinal gas with discharge, bowel movement urgency, poor bowel control and headaches. Doesn't sound like fun to me, what are people suppose to do wear a diaper?
I suggest two all natural diet pills that are safe and have no side effects. They are Hoodia Gordonii and Cha de Bugre.
Hoodia Gordonii is a natural appetite suppressant derived from a South African cactus that the bushmen have eaten there for thousands of years. You need to make sure you get a strong pure hoodia that is certified to be genuine. I always recommend Totalink's unbiased Hoodia comparison at http://64.233.167.104/search?q=cache:ze_...
Cha de Bugre, is a new weight loss supplement that is growing in popularity and is similar to Ma Huang (Ephedrine) without any of the bad effects. Cha de Bugre is from Brazil and has been used there safely for centuries. Cha de Bugre provides energy, fat burning and appetite suppression that benefit weight loss. Cha de Bugre also has additional uses that are known in Brazil that include being used as a mild diuretic, a cellulite reducer, aides in reducing herpes simplex outbreaks and a heart tonic. Hope this helps, if you want to know more about Hoodia I have written a lot of articles on it. Just search Yahoo or Google under my name “Andrew Aitaken” to find them.
Remember, you should always consult your physician before taking any diet pill or weight loss supplement.
