please dont take alli - I have a friend who took it and she had all of these bad side effects like...
loose stools, too-frequent stools, uncontrollable bowel movements, or gas with an oily discharge.

she took proactol instead. proactoal does the same thing but no YUCKY side effects

I would be careful with Alli. One of the side effects of the drug is that it can cause loose bowels and may lead to soiled underpants. Its side effects are similar to Olestra.
i took this pill a few years ago when it available by prescription only under the name xenical and i did not suffer any of the effects mentioned..mainly because i followed the directions and diet plan.if you eat more then the alloted number of fat grams then yes you will have those nasty side effects..i just purcahsed my alli started pack and plan on starting it monday and using it along with the weight watchers plan i have been doing since fbruary
Yes Alli is good. I have some of those loose gassy and oily stools only because I had went over the 15 fat grams. However I've lost about 5 lbs so far, that's also because I'm working out alot too. Fat has more calories than protein and carbohydrates. Since Alli block 25 percent of what you eat and you exercise, then you are burning off those extra calories. However, the secret to weight loss isn't diet pills. You simply have to eat less and exercise more. Alli just helps jump start this kind of lifestyle. Its really simple. Loose and gassy stools just remind me i need to eat less fact, b/c its not a comfortable feels, but I'd recommend it.
I think you should try it .I started as soon as it hit the shelves.I have the side effects only when I eat the wrong foods.I have not had any accidents at work, I work in a hospital plenty of bathrooms. Nobody wants to be over weight. I am going to give this my best shot. As of Sunday a weight loss of 4 pounds, could not have done it without ALLI....
