I just had a baby 1 month ago and now Iam desperate 2 loose the weight. Diet pills??
Question:
Answer:
It took 9 months to put the weight on, it might take that long to take it off. Or longer! Just watch what you eat and check with your doctor to make sure you can exercise. Get the stroller out and take the baby for a walk. Check with your local parks and see if they have any activities for mommies and babies! Good luck.
WORKOUT!!!!!!!
NO NO NO!!! Don't do diet pills. Its not safe. Exercise, eating right and drinking lots of water is the way to go
are you nursing the baby? if so, why would you take diet pills? anything you take will go straight to the baby. if you are not nursing, then you can eat good-don't eat like you're still pregnant. exercise...take the baby on walks in the stroller. it's warming up outside. talk to your doctor about what you can do to lose weight.
Skip the pills. In the culture of skinny, it may be tempting to kill weight as fast as possible, but many solutions are actually very unhealthy and potentially dangerous. That said, it took about nine months to gain most of it, no woman gets it to go away immediately in a healthy manner.
What you can do is aim to eat healthy and take some time every day to get some excercise. You don't have to be complex, taking a brisk walk around the block is a great start. Also, contrary to popular thought, eating less will not make you lose weight. In fact, you will probably gain in your body's attempt to conserve. So aim for having full, balanced meals which will keep your energy and metabolism up.
Breastfeeding is the quickest way to make your uterus shrink down back to size. The same horomone that produces breastmilk causes your uterus to contract. It actually caused me to loose too much weight and now I'm back to my prepregnancy weight. Good Luck!
EXERCISE!
give your body a break. You have to wait for the swelling to go down. In the meantime. Walk a ton with the baby, drink water like crazy. If your breastfeeding you will naturally loose weight due to the calories baby takes.
I delivered at 197 pounds a year ago, I am 128. I did not take pills or special diet. I don't drink anymore though, that was a lot of calories!!
No! Those barely ever work! Go on a diet like Weight Watchers or something. Or you could just workout.
NO...diet pills are a mild form of speed and that can mess you up seriously. I took the recommended dosage once and ended up in the ER with too rapid of heart beat. (like 180 resting) they told me to never take them or anything like it again.
Diet and exercise are the best...get a good stroller and start walking/jogging with that little baby.
Breastfeed your baby, you lose an average of 500 calories a day breastfeeding.I lost my baby fat in about 2 weeks, it will come off. You need to spend your time resting and relaxing (like that'll happen w/ a new baby)not worrying how you look.Between breastfeeding, running to the washer and dryer every hour on the hour, making bottles, sterilizing stuff, keeping the house clean for friends and relatives who visit, cooking, checking the mail, running to jr. everytime (s)he cries, that's gotta count for something, hell, after all that, you need to eat more!!
Pilates. I lost ALL my baby weight and then some by doing Pilates and just watching what I ate. Breast feeding helped wonders also.
it took you 9 months to put on the weight give your self time. Don't use diet pills they're not safe, especially if your breast feeding. If you loose your weight to fast too it's harder for your skin to keep up, and you'll be unhappy with wrinkly skin. Just start walking, lifting light weights, and eat healthy
NO DIET PILLS - You've heard Ann Nicole talk right??
Not only that...are you nursing? Anything you put in your body goes straight to the baby.
Nursing burns calories like crazy...So does exercise...
Relax...you just had a baby 4 weeks ago. If you are nursing then definately NO to diet pills. They will secrete into your milk. I wouldn't do the diet pills...just change your diet, and take the baby out in the stroller for walks
No diet pills really work. Read the labels...they ALL say the same thing. Something along the lines of "if you take this pill with a calorie-reduced diet and regular exercise, you MAY lose weight." Even the so-called natural ones carry dangers with them that are not worth it. If you are breastfeeding, you definitely should NOT be using pills.
There's only one safe way to lose weight effectively, and that is to eat a LITTLE less (by 200-400 calories) than the amount of calories you need to use in a day. If you eat too much less, you body goes into fat storage mode, and your attempts at starving yourself will backfire, as you will get fat quickly again when you start eating again.

Go to weight watchers if you really want an effective way to lose weight and keep it off. They have a good program for new moms who are breastfeeding.
