it only keeps you from metabolizing the fat you've eaten at the time you took the pill. which is still beneficial. example if i eat something with 3 grams of fat (still relatively low), and it blocks the 3 grams. that saves me from 27 calories-9 cal/fat gram. also your lower fat diet will come in handy. the side effects of the alli will promote a low fat diet. i have been on it for a week and lost 2 lbs.
