Does that new diet pill Alli really work?
Question:
Answer:
One thing I have learned about taking drugs is you can never do enough research. A year from now they are going to tell us the real side-affect of this product. I am taking a new product called RESTORE. It is an organic, vegetable-based juice elixir from a very well known company, Warm Spirit. I take a teaspoon a day mixed in any juice I like. No more popping pills! The only side affect of Restore is you WILL experience a diminished appetite (hallelujah). Over the past 6 months I have lost about 40 pounds.
They have received many awards and after researching them I was proud to find that it is a black owned company. I also use their shower gels, lotions and aromatherapy candles. Check out this web page: www.warmspirit.org/golden_life
Read the msg boards on myalli.com But yeah, I lost 5 lbs on the first week, but then I stopped taking them.
It works to send the fats thru your system instead of digesting them. It does give you lots of gas that can be "oily", stool incontinence (you can't wait to go and that's oily, too). If you eat a low fat diet the small amount of fat caused less problems. It has been researched since the mid-90's and has not been found to cause any lasting or long term effects.
I guess it works. But not the way we would imagine a diet pill to work. It blocks the absorption of fat. The truth is it gives you horrible diarrhea, wet farts and bad gas. All that fat that it won't allow your body to absorb has to go somewhere, right? In the long run I think it's a very pavlovian response that eventually helps you get thin: You don't wanna have to mess your pants so you start avoiding the foods that cause that reaction.
yes alli is amazing go to wal-mart its cheepest there now when you take it you cant eat over 15 g of fat with a meal or you will have "the runs" if you are more than 100lbs over weight you can take 2 with a meal
