Do you think diet pills work?
Question:
Instead the right diet did.
I wrote a small portion of dieting with pills in my blog " How I get there - to Optimal Weight, Optimal Health"

Answer:
It depends on the type of pills you use. There are fat burners, metabolism boosters, appetite suppresants, various "blockers." I found that suppressants do nothing for me, reason- I wasn't eating because I was hungry but rather because I wanted to eat. Suppressing my appetite didn't change my eating habits, as a matter of fact they made it worse. When the affects of the pill wore off I was extremely hungry and would want to pig out while waitng on the next pill to take affect.
Fat burners have worked for me at times, usually the ones that increase your heart rate. Unforetunately, they are dangerous and unregulated. I don't recommend taking them.
A study found that most pills work IF you follow exactly the diet and excersice plan mapped out to go with the pills. Catch is, if you follow those plans without the pills you'll lose weight anyway.
Personally I think it really depends on the type of diet pills and also I believe most of them do not work.
A good diet/routine is what will make the results

I bought one bottle of tablets from a health food shop and they worked a treat. But I'm sure there are many products out there which are basically sold to rip people off and have no actual real ingredient in them to assist with weight loss.
All I can remember about the tablets ingredients were that they contained Cider Vinegar and Kelp.
Basically, they were designed to speed up your metabolism and also to make you feel more full:
Strange but true fact - VANILLA can help you lose weight. If you spray a small amount of vanilla perfume on, the aroma somehow actually makes you feel quite full!
My dieting tip now would be to drink lots of water (which also fills you up) regular exercise. I am also attending Weight Watchers and really enjoying it. Not so much of a diet, more of a healthy eating plan. I can still eat any food I want to - chocolate, chips, cakes - heck, I still drink my bottle of wine at the weekend! And can go to KFC (my downfall) so long as the points are available, and if not, I can exercise to earn more which is a great incentive!
I truly believe the key to keeping it off is changing your diet and having a consistent workout routine. But, I also know that there are some diet pills that work and help kick things off. The old Hydroxycut worked miracles but I really couldn't tell you what is good now. I haven't tried any in a while but if you choose to use some you need to look for the ones that speed up your metabolism.
I think, a good diet and sometimes diet pills can work. Depends on the person especially. If he or she took pills and still having poor diet, it won't work right.
But, I think proper diet and lots of exercise will do it. Am I right guys? ;)
Slimming pills do what they are supposed to do. Problem is, most people who turn to pills are looking for an easy fix and not prepared to pay their dues, i.e. make permanent changes to their diet and physical activity. Once they stop taking pills, they go back to their old habits and its back to square one.
i think a diet pill maight work worser than diet and exersize cause i know a guy who did diet and exersie for 20 weeks and he lost 100 pounds
i dont think they do, even if you lose weight from them, you will soon put it back on when you stop having them.
