Phentermine works. It's the only diet pill that has ever worked for me. It does make you moody though. Small price to pay in my opinion! It's available prescription only now though.
Now if you're talking about doing some extensive workout routines then go for the hydroxycut hardcore by muscletech, which is what I use. The only side effects that I have noticed is that it has given me a caffeine rush, so dont drink any other caffinated drinks while taking this or you will get jumpy and bouncy.
If you want a good appetite suppresant then go for hoodithin or Pure Acai pills by Sambazon, which is what I also use. Remember that fat burns with healthy eating habits and exercise. Eat less calories and workout more.
Hydroxycut (ephedra free) works pretty good, but not as good as when it had ephedra in it. Ephedra is the only thing that ever worked for me, but it made my heart race and I could feel it pounding through my chest, so I don't recommend it. Go to your local GNC store, but def keep on exercising and eating right.
Also, I recommend going to a nutritionist, because you could be eating something that you may not even realize is making you gain weight, such as 1 percent or higher milk, soda, etc. A lot of people don't even know how many calories you have to burn to get rid of 1 pound of fat... the answer is 3500. Remember, you can't take pills for the rest of your life... it's better to change your food attitude then to take a pill that's on a temporary fix.
Alli may be FDA approved, but it also creates uncontrollable bowel movements. If you eat a meal too high in fat you'll experience what they consider a "treatment effect." It can be anything from "oily spotting" to literally defecating in your pants. If I remember correctly, they actually insisted that you bring an extra pair of pants to work just in case. Other weight loss pills that aren't FDA approved are mainly just diuretics which just dehydrate your body causing you to lose ten pounds of water weight -- not to mention quite a bit of potassium. The best and healthiest alternative to losing weight without all the nasty side effects is a healthy diet along with exercise. Yes it may take longer to do, but it's better for you in the long run -- and you don't feel like crap during the process.

I recommend both Hoodia Gordonii and Cha de Bugre. Why both, because they usually don't put enough weight loss ingredients in these big chain store brands to do much of anything. Most natural diet pills have one ingredient for appetite suppression and one for boosting your metabolism but are so weak they end up doing nothing. I suggest getting a strong supplement for your appetite and a separate strong pill for your metabolism.
Hoodia Gordonii is a natural appetite suppressant derived from a South African cactus that the bushmen have eaten there for thousands of years. You need to make sure you get a strong pure hoodia that is certified to be genuine. Check out Totalink's unbiased Hoodia comparison at http://hoodiagordonii.totalink.com/hoodi...
Cha de Bugre, is a new weight loss supplement that is growing in popularity and is similar to Ma Huang (Ephedrine) without any of the bad effects. Cha de Bugre is from Brazil and has been used there safely for centuries. Cha de Bugre provides energy, fat burning and appetite suppression that benefit weight loss. Cha de Bugre also has additional uses that are known in Brazil that include being used as a mild diuretic, a cellulite reducer, aides in reducing herpes simplex outbreaks and a heart tonic. Hope this helps.
