**NO "DIET PILLS ARE BAD FOR YOU" RANTS PLEASE.**

Answer:
Taking more than the recommended dosage is dangerous. I won't say that they are bad for you (even though they are), but they simply don't work. The only reason people lose weight on them is the placebo effect, they think they are going to work, so they attribute any weight loss to them rather than other changes they have made.
The only, and I mean only, way to lose weight is to eat several mini meals a day (preferably 40% carbs, 30% fats and 30% protein) and work out at least 3 times a week for at least 45 minutes. The workouts can include weight training, walking, jogging, dancing- whatever keeps you motivated.
You can even buy handweights or join a local gym (YMCA is good) with all the money you'll be saving by not buying the dexatrim. The Zone diet books by Barry Sears and Body for Life by Bill Phillips are the best diet books I've seen.
Good Luck to you!
those pill's are not safe at all just eat right and exercise you may not lose weight as fast but it's wayyyyyyy beter for you
Ok, but at your age and height 125 pounds is not too much. Diet pills are not necessary. Weight is not as important as being in shape. If you exercise you may build muscle and burn fat. You will look better but not necessarily weigh less since muscle mass weighs more than fat.
At 15 all diet pills are bad for you ! But if you are going to take them to help, stick to the prescribed dosage. A slow weight loss is a healthy weight loss. If you lose to quickly you are either losing water, which will come right back, or using up nutrients you body needs to survive.
Listen!! Get off the diet pills, your waisting your money. Exercise 3-4 days a week and eat 4-6 small meals a day. cut out the soft drinks and junk food. Motivation is the real key to loosing weight. Also, find a system that works for you.
Those diet pills are going to mess up your heart. You're still growing, and the pills will have a major impact on your health. Stop taking them now, and start your exercise and healthy eating plan. Those pills never work. The reason you're seeing results slowly, is because you're active. Those pills act as diuretic. They make you pee. It gets rid of the water weight . It's the same effect and better for YOU if you just drink lots of water.
diet pills aren't really safe in the first place, you are supposed to talk to your doctor first because there are so many adverse effects, so i would not advise you to take more than directed. Glad that they're working for you though!
