Do diet pills work?
Question:
Answer:
Well i've tried many different diets. ( notice the word die in it.).
Do i think they will work. Well depends on what is in them. The older ones that had ephedria in them did work, and worked very well. Untill people started to be careless with them, and then started to blame ill sideeffects of their own health on the ingrediance in the pills. Oh i had a heart attach because of the pills.Yet the real reason was they were in poor health tobegin with and the heart was damaged already by what they had done before. And adding in the pills with out the watch ful eye of a dr exasperated the condition.
Possible sideeffects. Depends on which ones you take. If your taking the newest thing on the market ie Alli, you will find your self needing a change of clothing and most times in the bathroom. Other sideeffects depend on your health, age, and what is in the pill it self. You can have everything from nothing to, palpatations of the heart, erriatic breathing, jitteriness, rapid breathing. If your sensitive to cafine, these things might happen.
Best suggestion is see a nutrisionist. Talk to your dr. If your extreamly over weight and are doing this for health reasons, i'm quiet sure they can help to lead you in the right direction that isn't surgury.
and one last sideeffect, they only work short term. They dont work long term. Once you go off the pills you gain back not only what you lost but more. Moreover, it doesn't change what needs to be changed which would be your way of eating as well as what you are eating. If you dont change that first and your way of thinking you will get no where.
Good luck
too lazy to exersize, I see.
No. They don't work.
If you want to lose weight, go out and exercise.
no and they can affect your heart...don't take them. There is never enough research to let you know what the side effects will be.
Some of them work, but people usually gain the weight back. You should just eat healthy and exercise.
some do, like zanrax 3
I wouldn't know but um..what does this have to do with myspace?
Yes they work, and they are very dangerous. Don't try them. Depending on which product you use, the list of possible side effects goes on. The best way to loose weight is to simply eat a healthy balanced diet, eat only when hungry, no snacking and exercise. Just what no one wants to hear, but that is the only safe way. Good luck!
sometimes they do... but i dont think cheap ones will
Be really careful with that, they can be very dangerous. The only thing that makes them work is that they can curb your appetite to make you eat less. The side effects are elevated heart rate, blood pressure, headache and a whole lot more.
You will still have to excercise and diet with them.
Be careful of cheap diet pills. There is now a pill called Alli that was the first to be approved be the FDA. You can get it at Wal-Mart for $50.00. I would trust it over the others.
You shouldn't use diet pills unless its your last oppion.. I don't agree with diet pills, it is an unhealthy speedy way to loose fats in your body..
you should ask your doctor...he/she should know the correct answer.
NO! They can become addictive and really mess up your metabolism. When you quit taking them, often the weight comes back. Side affects can be lack of sleep, hyper activity, and lack of concentration. Almost like a stimulant like speed! I've known some people who have not had good experiences with them. Lose weight w/exercise and cut down fat carbs and calories. Good luck!
Don't take them!
No they dont work.
Some are scams that do nothing.
While others are scams that do more harm than good.
Dont evert take a pill that will dehydrate you, or any kind of laxative. Those are the dangerous ones.
The rest pretty much tell you that you can lower your motabolism, or keep you from getting hungry. The best way to lose wait is the right diet and exercise.
Yeah i know.. everyone says that. But its the truth. Work hard, get fit, enjoy life.
It depends on the company.
i thick that some diet pills work but you have to take the right ones to lose that weight
no they wont work and guess what they make you grow a moustache i know because it happened to my friend and especially no because they were cheap they definately wont work if you want to loose weight then youve got todietition theyll give you a diet suitable to your body.
NOOOOOO don't use them there like speed they way the work is they get you hyped up so you loose the weight
The thing about dietary supplements (including diet pills) is that a) they dont have to be evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration and b) they dont have to list their ingredients. Crazy huh? If you look I can promise you there will be a disclaimer on the bottle about how "these statements have not been evaluated by the fda..." So theres no telling what side effects there could be, or even if theyll have any positive effects. I know that walgreens is selling the only fda approved diet pill right now, or at least thats what theyre advertising...
No, unless you cut down on your calorie intake as well as exercise. The trouble with diet pills are that they make overweight individuals think that they can take the easy way out by trying them in the first place. What they do not realize is that losing weight requires hard work, dedication and patience. You cannot lose all the weight too quickly nor can you assume that one pill is going to do all the work for you. You must take action, consult a physician and exercise daily or enroll in a health club if possible.
As for the side effects, ask your doctor or do some research to see if these pills are right for you. Still, the only way to really become thinner is to sweat off the pounds and tone some muscles. It would be both a rewarding and satisfying experience for you. Hope that helps.
No, they do not work. They way to lose weight is to excersize (as i see you are doing.) also eat less. only eat when your stomach growls. Oh, and by the way, what does this even remotley have to do with mys pace. you probably would have gotten better answers on the other sections,
