Is Alli (Diet pill) recommended for vegetarians ?
Question:
Answer:
Well, if you're vegetarian and still need a diet pill, you must be eating a lot of cheeses, eggs, and other high fat, non-meat products. So, the pill would help you absorb excess fat. But, if you're eating a well balanced vegetarian diet, you shouldn't need Alli.
not unless you cook them in a lot of fat, or butter etc.
Alli works by blocking fat absorption in the intestines. As a vegetarian you have very little fat in your diet. I would not recommend it for a vegetarian.
Have not heard it recommended for vegetarians, only NOT recommended it you have a high fat intake as it has a sort of "Montezuma's revenge" action if you do and even read in the paper if you take the stuff, to wear "dark pants" just in case (and we laughed at that one!).
My ex used to be on the RX version of the stuff and she b!tched if she ate anything with too much fat in it about having stomach cramps, ran to the restroom like a banshee out of hell, and left whatever she did left and orange reside from hell that I had to resort to actually scrubbing the commode to get whatever the heck it was off of my porcelon fixture.
I even put those bleach tablets that you drop in the tank and gave it a triple dose and still had to scrub, which I never did before.
After that, picked up the kid so I wouldn't have to deal with the "aftermath".
