Would it be safe for a 16 year old to take Alli diet pills?
Question:
Answer:
I don't think it's ever safe for a 16 year old to be taking dieting pills. Even if it is safe, I definitely wouldn't recommend it. Those things usually come with side effects that might end up having you pack on the pounds more than what you originally weighed. I suggest you go on a proper healthy diet as well as get good exercise. Play more sports or jog in the morning. Eat food that would speed up your metabolism and eat from the 5 food groups. Not only can that help you lose weight, but it keeps your heart healthy. Its a win win situation. Don't take pills.
No.

you're 16yrs, 5'7" and 145 lbs. what's the problem?especially if you're a guy. you're to young to take diet pills in the first place but i don't think you need to anyway.
You may want to just call your local 'Ask a nurse' hotline and ask what they think. Seriously though...I wouldn't consider you to be overweight!
no it would not be safe because Alli producers state that it is for adults 18 and over. a 16 year old would not welcome the responsibilities that come with taking alli, such as the actual dieting taht is involved and a change of meal plans. also, a 16 year old is not grown enough. and besides, you arent obese, your weight is normal. Go to the gym:)
friend , any thing gained with external support will last till that support is there.
why depend upon Pills of any kind to sustain your weight. Instead try the time tested exercise given below

First your weight is not overweight so I dont think you even need them. I know you feel like you do believe me I suffered from and eating disorder but with regular excerise and few dietary changes you can shed those few extra pounds easily instead Alli.
In oder to use Alli you must follow astrict low fat-no fat diet because the fat you body can't absorb comes out through your bowel movements and you can also have anal leakage thrpugh out the day.
no. don't try dieting like that. just eat healthy meals and exercise regularly. i know it sounds cheesy, but trust me, it works. i read an article that said most teenagers who diet for 5 years end up binge eating. try to eat at least 2 fruits and/or veggies with each meal, and some kind of meat. also, start lifting weights or jogging. there are natural ways to lose weight, but people have once again found some chemical way. so, try my method for like 2 weeks and see what happens.
Since you're overweight no it would not be safe for a 16 year old at 5'7 and 145lbs. to take this medicine. You don't want to lose weight, you'd probably look like you were on drugs.
All diet pills has risk involved. You should not take a diet pill unless you really have to .
Focus on eating a healthy diet and exercising (both aerobic and strength training), and you'll lose weight without any medication. As for fat, try to eat "healthy fats", but either way, limit your fat intake to no more than 30% of your total calories. It works ... really!
No, you are perfectly fine! And no, it's not safe for you to take diet pills. If you're going to lose weight, you should only lose 5-10 pounds at the most. You are rather tall, and need some weight on you.
Alli is for people who are overweight to obese. You would not be a good candidate.
