Safe diet pills?

Question:
I have been trying to lose weight since I gained 80 pounds 5 years ago. I'm wanting to lose around 60 pounds (I dont care to be thin, just healthier). I have tried many diets and exercise plans but nothing works. Weight Watchers even caused me to GAIN weight. I want to start a balanced diet again and continue to exercise while taking a diet pill. I do not have health insurance (lost my job) so I can't go see a physican about this for a while but I want to lose 60 pounds by Christmas (sooner if possible). Is there any diet pill out there that is safe or what is the safest one? I am seriously overweight and this is very important to me. I'm 21 years old and hate how I look so bad that I wear long sleeves everywhere I go now. Could someone please help me out?

Answer:
no diet pills are truly healthy my mom had tried everything , nothing worked, she read in a magazine to count her calories, she consumes about 1750 a day she has been on that for about a mouth now and she has lost almost 20 pounds, for her this is the first diet that has ever worked for her, but anyway good luck with your weight loss
It's the age-old formula: eat a balanced diet and exercise. There's no simple way around it. Sure, there are appetite suppressants, but in the long run, they don't work. You just need to be able to motivate yourself and gain enough self-control to be able to lose the weight. Eat in moderation and try to be active whenever possible. It's difficult, but you can do it.
Diet pills are developed by companies that know that people like you will pay money for a placebo because that's the "American Way"-- finding a quick and easy bargain solution to a lifestyle problem caused by eating a western diet and living in a country dominated by American Idol and driving around town in our own personal living rooms with wheels.

The simple answer to your question is to GET ACTIVE. There are countless ways that you can increase your metabolism in activities called "microexercises".. take the stairs instead of using the elevator, walk to the corner drugstore instead of driving the car, and realize that there is no pill that is going to melt away the pounds.

Keep in mind the human body is an efficient machine.. the food we eat supplies us with energy to do work. If we choose to not do that work, then our bodies save the surplus in the form of fat. It's a fact of life.

I have been overweight most of my life too, and I found that the easiest way to control my weight was to stop eating processed garbage from fast food restaurants and to instead eat whole, natural foods. Along with that, I started riding my bicycle and running. (It wasn't easy and I had to start from scratch running just a few minutes at a time, but believe me, once you get into the habit of doing this, the pounds will absolutely fly off.)

Good luck in your endeavors. Set yourself free.
