Everyone has a hard time with those last few pounds.
Are you sure you are drinking enough water? Being underhydrated can slow your metabolism down. Is there any way you can extend your workout an extra 15 minutes a day or work out a little harder?
I take vitamin B for energy. It is also supposed to support your metabolism. I know I feel good taking it and get it for cheap.
If you just have to take something, then go to a reputable vitamin store. Don't take anything, anything with ephedrine. That stuff is so bad for you. ThermoDynamix is good from EAS, but it's like $50 a bottle. It is high grade, safe stuff though, not some junk from who knows where. On the EAS website you can see before and after photos of people who use ThermoDynamix.
I think if you went to a vitamin shop and told them what you explained here, that you are exercising and eating right and just need to lose ten pounds, they will be able to point you in the right direction.
You can call around before you even go anywhere, I would just call and tell a few different stores your situation and ask what their suggestions are. Write down what they tell you and then check it out online. If something sounds good to you, then go pick it up.
Good luck and congratulations on your weight loss so far. It isn't easy.
Weight does not mean anything, it is the BMI that counts.
Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight that applies to both adult men and women.
BMI Categories:
Underweight = <18.5
Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
Overweight = 25-29.9
Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
Try incorporating the Glycaemic Index into your eating plan is surprisingly easy.
Eating a lot of high GI foods can be detrimental to your health because it pushes your body to extremes. This is especially true if you are overweight and sedentary. Switching to eating mainly low GI carbs that slowly trickle glucose into your blood stream keeps your energy levels balanced and means you will feel fuller for longer between meals.
o Low GI diets help people lose and control weight
o Low GI diets increase the body's sensitivity to insulin
o Low GI carbs improve diabetes control
o Low GI carbs reduce the risk of heart disease
o Low GI carbs reduce blood cholesterol levels
o Low GI carbs can help you manage the symptoms of PCOS
o Low GI carbs reduce hunger and keep you fuller for longer
o Low GI carbs prolong physical endurance
o High GI carbs help re-fuel carbohydrate stores after exercise
