Does anyone have anything they could suggest on losing 15-20kgs without diet pills or money costing ideas?

Question:
People say its about a balanced diet and exercise! But it doesnt work for me!! Please help!

Answer:
Perhaps your understanding of a balanced diet and what you need to lose weight are not the same.

First, if you really can't lose weight by cutting your food intake, you need to see a doctor. You may have an underactive thyroid, or even pre-diabetes. Both these will make you have problems losing weight.

Second, you may not be eating as well as you think.

You don't say how old you are. If you are over 18, you can go to weight watchers, to find a meeting near you: http://www.weightwatchers.com

Otherwise, check out the south beach diet, or other plan at your library. You can even buy one of those calorie counter pocket guides at the grocery store for about $2. Plan to eat 1500 calories a day. You should lose 2-3 pounds a week.

It takes 3,500 calories to make a pound of fat.

It takes 12 calories per pound to maintain weight for females. A 100# female would require only 1200 calories a day to stay the same weight.

So to lose a pound a week, you would have to cut back 500 calories a day on your intake, to lose two pounds a week, you cut back 1000 calories a day. To lose more, you must burn fat. To cut back too many calories, you start to burn muscle as well as fat.

If you introduce cardio exercise into your weight loss efforts, you will also burn fat and increase your weight loss. If you have been inactive, start with 30 minutes a day and work up to an hour. Choose something you like to do: Walk briskly (where you can barely carry on a conversations), jog, ride a bike, swim, take an aerobics class, or buy a dvd with an aerobic workout you can do at home. The good thing about exercise, is it increases your metabolism, and keeps it up for several hours after you stop.

Absoloutely no McDonalds, Burger King, Wendys, or other fast food. No fried foods, french fries, burgers, etc. Their meals have so much fat and calories that you could put on weight by eating there only one time a day. No sugar sodas, only no cal soda drinks.

Good luck!
The only thing that truly works is a balanced diet and exercise. You have to be willing to change your entire lifestyle and really work at it. For exercise, you can do things like sit ups, crunches, run, rollerblade, bike ride, jump rope, etc. You could walk to work instead of drive. Eating healthy costs a bit more but it really is important. Some ways to cut cost is stop drinking soda, eating processed foods, and start cooking healthier meals. No more fast food or going out. Depending on your lifestyle, you might actually save money dieting and have more to put into your diet and exercise program. You have to be willing to commit to this long term and if you are looking for an immediate fix, you wont find one. This will take time and effort but you are worth it. You should start seeing results in a month or so. Dont just hop on a scale, check your measurements too, and truly think about how you feel after you start getting healthier. You will notice more energy and you will feel so much better.
The key to lose weight and keep it is to detoxify your body first. When you have too much toxins, you can not go to your body to get the energy, and all your energy only came from the food you eat. That is why people exercise and feel hungry all the time and can not lose weight. There are some things you can do to help lose weight, like eat every three hours. Is not what you eat, it is how you eat and how much you eat. You can eat almost anything, but avoid big meal, drink green tea, exercises 30 minutes daily. And most importantly go get massages for several months. If you can found somebody can give you detoxification massage, detoxify foot bath, and detoxify food program in your area, you should be able to lose it and keep it.
I hate to say it but thats what its about unless of course you intend to cut chunks out of your body!! The other thing is you can't hide behind excuses it may be harsh but if you do it just won't work ... Basically I hate to say it but it's all about effort ... it doesn't have to be hard but it's nt meant to be easy ... good luck ...
The soup diet usually works. It tastes great and you can eat as much of it as you like. E-mail me if you want the recipe. I have given this recipe to many others on this site.
Also the info that I send them tells you what to do after you have lost the weight. My friends who have been on this diet have lost anywhere up to 5kg per week but that was the most extreme. Its sort of like a minestrone soup. Full of veggies very tomatoey and very filling. You just have to drink heaps of water and do a bit of walking every day.
Eat small meals but not within 3 hours of going to sleep.
It is about a balance diet and exercise, but you also have to focus on toning your body. And remember to burn at least 25% of the calories that you put into your body.

And you have to remember that you will not loose weight over night, it is a gradual process, and is sometimes frustrating. Also watch out for unnessciary calories from the four Cs: cakes, cookies, chips, and candy.
