Can I take diet pills with migraine pills?

Call your pharmacists! very important-that is a dangerous combo. diet pills are bad to start with, but if you are taking imitrex for migraines, you definitely need to call your pharmacist. and never, never take medications with juice!
they may tell you to wait so many hours, or not at all, they may not mix, could be harmful. Please check! any OTC medications ask your pharmacist first if you take prescribe medications, they have no way of knowing unless you tell them and your GP too. Thanks. Tash
I have severe Migraines, and a I've taken a prescription weight loss pill both at the same time. However, there are huge warning signs. I actually got off of mine because it intensified my migraines. If your doctor puts you on an antidepressant (higher dose such as.. wellbutrin xl, 300mg) that is used to control your weight, and depression aka helping lessen migraines. When it comes to chemicals in medications, you could have a bad chemical reaction especially if you take MAO inhibitors, or prescription migraine medication (triptan kind). ( mao's and triptans help your brain function differently). If it's just a Tylenol you wish to take with your weight loss pill, you should be fine. To be sure about any questions regarding mixtures of medications, you should call your local pharmacist or doctor.
