Try to avoid pills with ephedra. Becareful with any diet pills you should definetly consult your doctor before taking them. Hydroxycut works well. Most of the thermogenics creates some type of anxiety and speeds up your metabolism. However if you look at the active ingredients list it is usually green tea extract.
Since you just have belly fat, I don't think you need to take diet pills. Just exercise emphasizing on your stomach- crunches, bicycles, reverse crunches..etc.
portion control, cutting down fat intake, and getting some sort of exercise...even if it's just going for walks, works best. most diet pills have never been proved to work, and many have proved to have bad...even dangerous...side effects.
I recently got to goal doing Weight Watchers. many doctors, including my own, recommend it because it's healthy and sensible. and it works!
