Is there a safe appetite suppressant/diet pill to take while on medication for a slow thyroid?
Question:
Answer:
Is the Armour being adjusted by free t4 and free t3? If so, you need the free t4 midrange and the free t3 high in range for weight loss.
As far as supplements, try adding fiber and digestive enzymes. Stay away from the diet products.
Many amino acids supress appetite. There is a company that sells amino acids. Pain & Stress Center. Google it in and you will find their website. Give them a call and they will tell you which AA's work for appetite.
FYI == This is not a network marketing company. I will get no compensation or recognition for suggesting this company. I am just giving good advice.
I would not take any appetite suppressant while on thyroid medication unless you consult with your physician first. Thyroid replacement therapy is meant to simulate what your thyroid cannot produce. Any additional stimulants may cause heart palpitations, nervousness and increased sweating. Try adjusting your eating habits, drinking plenty of fluids and exercising --- that worked for me.

Go jogging 30 mins/day 4x a week.
No. There is not a safe pill.
That is why doctors don't like describing them.
Otherwise everybody would use it.

the greatest appetite suppressant that I can think of is caffiene and it comes in the best source that being coffee or tea.
Alternatively you can go to a chemist or drugstore and ask for caffiene pills . The downside to this is that they will keep you awake which is okay if you're only taking them during the day.
Note : what ever you do do not take these after 5 p.m. you will never get to sleep in fact you will not feel drowsy till probably 1 a.m. or even later please take this under advisement.
You could always just drink a lot of water because this will filled your stomach make you feel full and you will not desire to eat any more. This is what I do in fact in summer I eat ice because it cools me down and has the added benefit of suppressing my appetite so I don't eat too much.
I hope this has been helpfully.
