Have you lost weight taking diet pills?
Question:
Answer:
I know you want help with what diet pills to use but i would like to suggest trying the detox diet .
Detox diet schedule
On the day (the Friday) that you would be starting the detox program, try and mentally prepare for the weekend ahead and also cut out tea and coffee during the day, and keep have a low protein and low fat breakfast and lunch.
Look at having some cereal for breakfast and a light crispy salad for lunch. Drink only fresh water or herbal tea. You could add 5ml (1 teaspoon) of apple cider vinegar to each glass of water.
For the weekend, decide on one type of fruit to eat the entire weekend - be that cantaloupe, watermelon, apples, pears etc. The best type of fruit to use is a fruit with a high water content - such as watermelon or cantaloupe.
During the detox diet, stick to plain fresh water or herbal tea.
Another drink you could make is to take raw beetroot and to grate it and then to cover the grated beetroot with water. Let the mixture stand for at least 20 minutes, and then strain out the beetroot and keep the water to drink.
The water drawn from this raw beetroot does not taste bad, and is an excellent boost to detoxify your body. Two to three "coverings" of the beetroot can be used, before you need to discard the beetroot and grate some fresh.
Ensure that you drink at least 2 liters (3 pints) of water per day during this period - this is a good habit to keep up with even after the detox period.
Sunday night you can start at supper time to return to normality and a supper of lightly steamed vegetables will do the trick. Try not to use salt, as you may be craving salt at this time.
On Monday morning, you can face the world again with a breakfast of some fruit and cereal and some yogurt - but you may decide after this weekend to continue your detox period for a longer time - even if you are less strict.
If you are able to stay on your one selected fruit for five days, you may be amazed with the results and the way you feel - but in most cases, a five-day stint is far too long for people that are not in the environment of a health hydro.
After your detox plan or diet, the ideal is to make changes to your lifestyle and diet to ensure that you do not over-tax your body with coping with a toxic lifestyle.
I know some people have lost a ton of weight on this diet. Of course you could never do this for more than a week. You would have to do it maybe one week out of every month.

Diet pills are not a good source to go by. A lot of people end up gaining all the weight they lost plus some more once they leave alone the diet pills. Try to eat very nutritious meals, plenty fresh fruits & fresh vegetables trhoughout the day. Get your exercising in, walking 30 minutes a day is a good source but I would not recommend any diet pills. Diet pills are all a scam & can become addictive.
I have had 3 children and struggled with my weight since my first pregnancy 12 years ago. I excercise as much as possible and eat healthy a majority of the time (baked and grilled fish, chicken, turkey - whole grain rice- lots of veggies, etc). However, my main problem was my cravings for carbs and sweets which would cause binges, no matter how good I was on a regular basis, a few times a week I would eat horribly! I still remained 60 lbs over my target weight (im 5'4" and was 190 lbs).
I finally went to my doctor a few weeks ago to seek the help I've needed for so long. She put me on a medication called phentermine. It can raise your blood pressure to a dangerous level so I will be having monthly checks but so far I've lost over 10 lbs and have not binged once since I started it.
I had tried to overcome this for so long on my own, and really feared having my doc tell me that I didnt need a diet pill and just to try harder, so to have her support me and give me this help was a huge relief.
Now, in your case, I would definitely say that one month postpartum isn't long enough to work off all the baby fat, and you have already made a large dent in losing what you gained, so I would give it a bit more time before jumping to that step.
But if some time passes and you are still in the same range u are now, I wouldn't hesitate to talk to your doc, and also dont let all the peeps that tell you that pills are cheating and to just be strong enough to do it on your own get you down. I understand how hard it can be and I suffered on my own for years too long because i listened to those who said that.
I wish you luck and also congrats on your baby hun!
Diet pills didn't help me. If you are breastfeeding, the pills will harm your baby. Responsible diet pills companies will have that warning on their labels.
Breastfeeding is one of the best way for the mother to regain her pre pregnancy weight.
Eat healthily with lots of veggies, lean meat and complex carbs and exercise, you will not have problem losing some weight and fats. Lose slowly so that you won't have sagging folds over your tummy.
I am on low carb, low fat, high fibre, high protein and a hour brisk walk 5 times a week, and I have lost 31lbs and gain better health. I am now maintaining my 108lbs for more than a year.

the only diet that I have ever tried that resulted in quick weight loss was Atkins. I only recommend it if you are not breastfeeding though. I don't recommend pills necessarily but any supplement that helps you detox while you are improving your diet is a plus because many of us carry around extra weight and water just because our insides have become sluggish from toxins.
