Has anyone ever tried diet pills?

I'm not huge but would like to lose about a stone Do pills really work?

All I will say is DONT TOUCH THEM. You only have a stone to lose and that's nothing. I wouldn't recommend dieting as they don't work but simply cut down (not out completely otherwise you won't be able to keep it up) any fatty/sugary foods and do 20 minutes of walking or some form of exercise a day and it will drop off. Drink plenty of water too. Good luck.

They do for a while. As you only want to lose a stone it shouldn't be a problem.

If you take them over long term your body gets used to them and they don't work, you can also get addicted to them.

Far better to drink a pint of water half an hour before every meal to fill you up so you don't eat as much.
Yes, diet pills do work, but they're also, depending on the brand, one of the most unhealthy ways to lose weight. I'm sure you've heard this before but diet and regular excercise works best!

it depends on how much you want to loose, you shouldn't use them for long term as your body gets used to them. i think its safe to loose about 3 or 4 pounds. i did try them once, years ago, they didn't help me, but it depends on each individual. one diet may work on one person, but may not work on another. there are different diet pills

but be sure not too get hogged. slim fast shakes helped me, but i only stickied to that for 2 weeks which was good. its been a year now and i still kept the weight off.
I'd avoid them like the plague if I were you. The majority of them are only sold by people who want to make a lot of money out of people who are just looking for help. If you really want to try something like that then maybe go somewhere like holland & barratt and speak to the sales staff to see what they suggest, or even try Adios - I don't think they'd allow advertising of it if it didn't do something. I did buy some slimmimg pills from a friend of a friend once but it was a total waste of money. So, if you're going to do it, just make sure you do your research.
