Has any one tried the diet pill "ALLI" ?
Question:
Answer:
Hi, so far I have lost 8 lbs in 5 weeks, so I consider it worth it. I believe the average additional weight loss is 2 kg (4.4 lbs) more than other people using the same diet over 12 weeks.
You have to commit to the diet as well as remember to take the pills or it won't work. I would recommend using a pantyliner the first week to deal with the treatment effects.
Also, check out the Alli website, I have found the nutrition tracker very helpful.

i've never taken it, i'm just waiting on people to answer your question. is it an over the counter drug or is it a prescription?
Alli is a complete waste of money. If anyone ever read the warnings or the info on their web site, nobody would take the stuff.
The reality is, in the manufacturer's own tests before they released the product, people who took Alli lost less than 1 lb a month more over the course of 12 months than people taking a placebo. You should just find out what the placebo was and go with that.

If you really want to lose weight permanently, you have to accept that you need to eat right and exercise and stop looking for magic pills. There are plenty of great programs you can follow that will give you real results and cost less than Alli. Check some out here:

I took the prescription (Xenical) a few years ago. Know what you are getting into. It's a fat blocker, which means that if you eat more than a few grams of fat, it will NOT be absorbed, but rather pass out of you as an oil. Many people have spoken of spotting, staining, having to wear sanitary napkins or diapers. In addition, you get gassy and you cannot relieve this gas unless you run to the bathroom; you might be getting rid of both the oil and the gas.
It DOES force you to follow a very low-fat diet, but to be honest, I'd rather force myself in other ways.
Check with your doctor - it's not for those who have just a few pounds and for those who think they can eat anything and then take a pill.
Good luck.
i never took any diet pills but my momz doctor suggested her not to take any pills cuz it gives problemz at the end..
