Do diet pills ALWAYS make you regain weight?

Question:
People say that you shouldn't take a diet pill, because in the end, you'll regain it after you stop taking them. Is that a definite, or is it just an assumption that you'll eat more and work out less to boot?

Answer:
Bullshit, the main thing is cause they supress your appetite, which might slower your metabolism from not eating. They only gain cause they havent changed the way they eat. If your still eating crap when you get off the pills, of course your gonna gain weight back, but if your eating healthier then you just kick started your weight loss and healthy eating habits. You should work out though.
Diet pills are a jump start to reworking your whole eating regime. If you don't and merely use them to keep your appetite down-of course you will lose but when you stop taking them you will be hungry again, eat the same ol junk and regain. Its not the pills, its the food and the physical fitness of the individual.
Permanent weight loss requires you to permanently change your nutrition and excercise level. It requires adjustments as you age. When you hit 30 your body starts to lose muscle which means your metabolism slows down. You counter this with strength training. There is no magic pill, potion, chant, fad diet, etc.

It's basically quitting the habit or addiction of eating and excercising poorly.

Medical conditions are a different story.
