My mother just go the alli diet pills. Do they work?
Question:
Answer:
Anal leakage, gas and fecal urgency can be symptoms. It doesn't mean that she will definately have them. The more fat is in her diet though the greater the chances they might occur.
It can also block the good fat like omega-3's, so she should take a really good multivitamin to offset that.
I think it would be worth a try.
It is amazing how people respond without knowing the full deal.
Maybe. But you still have to exercise and diet so any real weight loss will be from that rather than some gimmicky pill. And if wearing diapers isn't a fun thing for her this might not be the right choice. But she probably has already learned this... Good luck to her.
i didn't lose anything but few other people i know did
Yea, they work your bowels.
I have been taking them for awhile now. They seem to work. The "loose bowels" seems to only happen when you eat horribly. As long as you're eating healthy, low/non-fat foods, there's never a problem. And even when I've strayed-from-the-path on the weekends, it's not too bad. I'm not soiling my pants because the bowels can't be controlled or anything.
Just like any weight-loss plan, the important factors are considering what your putting in your mouth, and getting exercise. The Alli pills are there to assist in the weight loss - not act as a miracle pill while some stuff their face with hamburgers and fries, and expect themselves to drop weight.
