I have taken 2 diet pills today, now by back is killing me. Is there any connection? Can I take an Aleve?
Question:
Maybe you should do some reseach on the diet pill your taking. You may need to switch or talk to your doctor.
you have to drink a lot of water or your muscles will cramp when taking diet pills
YOU NEED TO SEE A DR.right away..! NO MORE MEDS..till you you do! iF you want your kidneys to stay with you for the rest of your life you will get off those diet pills..its not the way to go to loose weight! Please seek medical attention as soon as you can. I would hate to think that your weight management thinking would outway the ability to keep yourself healthy.
It could be you are dehydrated, be sure to drink plenty of water. Check the diet pill information to see what the side effects are, if kidney problems is a side effect it may not be your back it could be your kidneys. This is serious. If the pain is severe ring your doctors on call number. Have you been urinating regularly, if not then I would definately seek help soon.
Is it muscle spasms in the back? If so then it suggests it's not kidneys but a muscle problem. Hopefully hydration will work. I think that because it is worse when you sit down it's probably your back. Often there is more pressure on nerves and muscles when sitting.
I would go ahead and take the Alieve. But if the pain persists see your doctor as soon as possible. I would ring the doctor tomorrow and let them know your symptoms to see if it's possibly a side effect of the diet pills.
You didn't say which diet pills you are taking, there are so many on the market but almost all require you to drink large amounts of water with them to stay hydrated. Cranberry juice is a great idea as well. Stay clear of soda and other drinks that can dehydrate you.
Did your doctor prescribe the diet pills? It's always a good idea to discus what diet pills you want to take with your doctor prior to starting any. There are so many on the market that aren't good for you. Your doctor can probably recommend which kind is best for you and which kind you should stay clear of.
If the pain is severe or becomes severe I would go ring your doctors emergency call number, go to the Urgent care clinic or emergency room.
I hope you feel better soon :)
