Seems like people r still fat&/ or killing themselves.What did people do BEFORE diet pills & antidepressants?

Good healthy diet + exercise probably? Exercise will help you feel less depressed by the way.
They ate better and took responsibility?

I know it's not always like that, but it certainly does seem like many people only want to be given a magical solution because their problems are "obviously from the outside."
They killed themselves and natural selection proved survival of the fittest. LOL. The fat lazy ones with bad genes died, the ones that would be fat in today's world but had decent genes had to go out and work for food that wasn't as readily available as going to the store, so they never got fat. In some areas of the world (usually colder regions) where body weight was needed for insulation and preservation, it was used for just that.

In more recent times (like the 80's) they just died of heart disease and suicide which prompted the creation of diet pills and anti-depressants.
