Diet pills...yes or no?

I'm 5'3 and weigh 137 pounds, i really want to lose about 7-10 pounds in a month, coz were getting into summer season. I feel really self concious. I know im not fat, but i wouldn't say i have a toned slim slim figure to flaunt around! also what is the best exercise i can do thats fun and not boring and will burn fat and tone my stomach and inner thighs?

If diet pills worked, there would be no fat people around. NO..don't waste your money. Just by increasing your activity moderately (like 3 times a week) by walking with a partner or on the beach, riding a bike will help. Spurts like jogging for a few minutes while walking, will help you burn more calories.
Stay on a moderate Exchange Diet (look it up) and drop any fast foods, processed foods, "white" carbohydrates. You will also want to watch your calorie intake. You can lose 2-3 lbs. a week on a 1000-1200 cal diet.
Increase your fluids and lay off of the sodas. Good Luck.

I think diet pills are scary. They speed up your heart and could possibly give you a heart attact. You will probably feel really hyper and shakey if you take them. Pilates is a very good workout for your core. It is fun and not too challanging once you get used to it. Rollerblading is also great for your thighs.
Adipex seem to work the best, if you haven't taken them before. You will build a tolerance once you've been on them for a while. Be prepared to bounce off the walls, because they give you lots of energy.
Diet pills are a really bad idea. Most contain ingredients that can cause a lot more harm than good and any weight you lose with diet pills has an irritating tendency to come back and bring along a few extra pounds as company.
A couple of fun and interesting workout videos are the Turbo Jam series and the Billy Blanks Boot Camp series. Turbo Jam is especially good for burning fat fast and toning your body. If you don't want to buy an exercise video then go biking. It is a great exercise for the thighs and can be a lot of fun.
Another hint to drop those 7-10 lbs is to cut out sugar and sodas. You'll lose a few pounds just by doing this.
