What is a good way for 14-17 year old's to lose weight with out diet pills or medicine?

Question:

Answer:
Exercise and eating right.
Eat less and exercise. No junk food or sodas. Run or ride a bike. It's the only way.
exercise! of course
Healthy diet and exercise. That's good for everyone.

You could try athletics in school as well.
one word......EXERCISE...
Go jogging, running, walking, or swimming. That's the easiest way for a teen to lose weight all around the body! Maybe grab a couple 2lb. weights for when you go walking. Or even walk the mall. It sounds stupid, but browse while you're doing it.
stop eating junkfood
Avoid food from the school cafeteria and vending machines. School food is packed with fat and salt despite what folks are told. I work in a school and the last thing I pulled out of the vending machine had over 400 calories in it - and this is a machine that is supposed to have "healthy" snacks in it. Pack your own healthy food and start a supervised exercise program.
The best way is a healthy diet and exercise.
this is the tricky thing. most teens that are trying to loose weight do not need to.
but if you must:
eat a low cholesterol, low fat diet.
just eat generally healthy and do some mild cardie on a low impact at first then increase.
some running is good.
don't worry about the weight, look at your bmi (body mass index)
First.. no more chips, or fast food, get off of the coke or pepsi.. next.. no fried food..

eat 5 meal a day.. if it dose not fit in a coffee cup.. then dont eat it. next.. dont drink milk but 2's a day.. drink juices.. and 3 8oz water...

next ride your bike to and from school.. or walk.. get up early.. next.. go to the park and play on the toys.. lol..

go play tennis for fun.. or basket ball..

lay in bed and exercise while watching tv.. go in the frount room and watch a DVD and exercise..

next.. go mow the grass..

if you dont sweat you are not losing weight.. mama giggles
Cardio exercise and eating 6 small meals a day.
Kelsey said it all...speak with your doctor first to be sure you really do need to lose weight, and ask for a meal plan. Any form of exercise will be good for you if you don't like to do sit ups and etc - just take a brisk walk every day or a couple of times a day. Don't worry about how far you are walking, go by how long you are walking. Start with half an hour at a time and work up from there. Be sure to take a bottle of water with you during the summer so that you don't become dehydrated and make yourself sick.
eat less and exercise is the only healthy way to go.

Tips: Drink water instead of soda, sugary tea or fruit juice. Don't eat candy, watch all sugary foods. Eat yogurt instead of ice cream. Eat small portions. Don't clean your plate when out to eat- save 1/2 of it. Take stairs, not elevator. Get a hobby or a sport that requires you to move- tennis, rollerblading, swimming, etc. don't let yourself get too hungry ever- it is better to eat small healthy snacks than get ravenous and overeat.
don't sweat it when you do occassionally have a great desert or a big meal- you have to live some too!
hate to point out the obvious but daily exercise and healthier eating. Do not develop an eating disorder like starving yourself or bulima because trust me they dont work, they might for a short period of time but then the moment you stop you put weight back on. Do not cut out the food you love just have less of it, everything in moderation. Most importantly burn off more then you eat with exercise
Best thing is to do regular exercises while having low cholesterol / low oil food.

Send the child to swimming, cycling and running (Do NOT send him to Gym).
