All Diet Pills Are Bad?
Question:
And I wanted to take the diet pills too...but my aunt says they ALL are not good...but she's a nutritionist so... I was just wondering if they’re where any kinds of things I could do.
Answer:
You should speak to your doctor. He/she can set you up with a nutrionalist who can advise you the best diet for your body type and current lifestyle. Also, the diet pills will only work correctly if used with proper diet & excersice. They are very easily missused, but they themselves are not "bad", just the missuse is.

It is difficult being so young and being told you have to loose weight. I can tell you there are some healthy forms of pills that will enhance weight loss with natural ingredients but at the same time, your aunt is right to say diet pills are never a good idea. (If you are sure you want to try it, look into Apex available at 24hour fittness stores) Depending on how much you need to lose, try cutting the amount of food you intake in 1/2, not by calories but by portion. Also try drinking a lot of water. It will keep your body flushed out and decrease your appetite by making you feel full longer.
Hello. I'm 24 years old, and I too struggle with my weight.
Through the past few years, I have tried *almost* every diet pill on the market. Each and every one of them caused some bad side effects, some worse than others. And I strongly discourage you from going that route with your weight loss plan.
When I took them, I did lose about 20-25 lbs, and very quickly. But I can guarantee you, with 100% certainty.. it was NOT fat loss. It was muscle loss. I know this because not only did my physical size never change, I had horrible aches and close to unbearable pains in my muscles (mainly in my back and legs) from the pills. Most of the pills caused horrible shakiness, and the amount of caffeine in them, made it very diffcult for me to get any sleep. I had a list of bad things going on, due to the pills I was taking.
So, like many others, I would try a different one (all claiming they were "better" than the one before) only to suffer the same side effects.
I took the pills, on and off for roughly 3 years. I now know what others tried to tell me in the beginning. If you want to lose weight (any amount of weight) you MUST do it the right way, with healthy eating and exercise. That is the only way that you will succeed in your goal, and maintain your health.
I would suggest that if you are wanting to lose some weight, just stick to eating right, and keep exercising, and you will get to where you want to be. And I would absolutely stay away from diet pills, as they are not good for you at all.
Good luck!
