I dont know but i tried metabolife recently and I felt like I was going crazy. I wanted to scream cry cuss laugh and pull my hair out all at the same time. I would stay away from them.
Not sure, but a friend of mine that works in a vitamin type store said they were basically crap, but they are made to sell them in the store.
Caffeine and green tea extract (another form of caffeine) are used to increase your basal metabolic rate (do not exceed body weight per milligram (e.g. a 150 lb person shouldn't take more than 150 mg caffeine in a 6 hour period); chromium, typically in the form of chromium picolinate (200mg), also causes an increase in metabolic rate.
Other ingredients: capsicum (hot red pepper), mu Huang (ephedera / ephedrine), and salicilate (aspirin) all effect your metabolism.
