What do you think of the diet pill hydrxycut?

Question:

Answer:
It worked for me, although taking too much of it made me light headed. If you use it, ease into it, don't jump into whatever their recommended dosage is.
I used it several years ago, and it didn't help me out too much. I think the better results I got were from the healthy eating and extra exercise.
I don't trust ANY diet pills. They are harmful.

* change your diet: vegetarianism will make you lose: http://www.pcrm.org/health/

* get plenty of aerobic excersize, like walk/run with dog, play tennis, go dancing.

* don't drink, don't smoke.

* and if you have a little $, get a quality multi-vitamin from your local 'health' store or healthshoppe.com
I can't imagine why someone would want to take a pill instead of just eating healthy and getting regular exercise.
I used it and I did see some weight loss. Its very important to drink alot of water with this product. Follow the dosage guidelines on the package because if you take too much it will make you feel very jittery and anxious. It also made me poop weird and that grossed me out.. i also had to poop like 5 times a day when i took it. I personally think diet pills are a waste of money though. People think they can eat extra calories or not exercise as much because the diet pill will do the work for them. this is not true at all.. the pill is just to aid your efforts in limiting your calories and exercising. you still have to work hard. in fact, the best way to lose weight is to skip the pills altogether. eating healthy and exercising will give you long lasting results, without feeling dependent on a pill or spending $60 a month on pills.
I would advise you in the strongest manner possible NOT to use Hydroxycut, or any other fat burner on the market for that matter. For starters, fat burners can really mess up your metabolism. You may experience heart palpitations, anxiety, irritability, and a host of other problems while taking them (probably because they're LOADED with caffeine). And even if you can take them without side effects and lose weight, your weight will come back -- with interest -- once you stop taking them. Finally, fat burners containing ephedra or any form of ephedrine can be LETHAL if you have high blood pressure or any heart problems whatsoever.

Have you read the fine print on the Hydroxycut commercials? Those people who lost all that weight also went through a regimen of diet and exercise to produce those seemingly fantastic results. Nutritionists, fitness experts, personal trainers and bodybuilders will tell you diet and exercise make up 97% of the equation -- or better. Supplements help, but they don't produce truly noticeable results without a lot of hard work and dietary discipline. You're better off adding more exercise to your routine and changing what you eat.

There are diets out there that allow you to eat food that still looks and tastes good while losing weight and improving your health. You may want to check out "The Abs Diet" which you can get at virtually any book store.
