What will happen is someone under 18 takes one of this dieting pills that says"do not take if under 18"
Question:
Answer:
kidneys, liver and organs are not fully matured until 16,nearly everything that is not needed by the body is stored in the liver and as the waste products are sometimes put out in urine these chemicals can do some damage to these organs so be very careful, these companies have to put an age restriction on them to protect themselves from prosecution if someone reacts to it
Nothing. I think that is put on diet aids to prevent misuse. If your friend is under 18, depending on the state you live in, she/he might not be able to purchase that particular diet product. I think, because our bodies are always growing up until, I believe, early 20's, I think, anyone under 18 is discouraged from using diet aids until their bodies have quit growing. But technically, it won't do anything.
the reason she could not be loosing any weight is because she is eating very little , food helps us make energy and speed our metabolisms to help us loose weight .. so eating is good , just not cheeseburger after burger and chip , ding dogs , hos hos , etc , encourage her to eat more apples , carrots , celery , for snacks pack them for when you know you will be with her and offer them to her and let her in on this little did you know ... those pills don't do crap if you don't have any food in you and are not exercising and she should be taking a multivitamin cause those pills will take alot of good vitamins out of the body so she needs extra . just call her house anonymously and tell her folks then hang up they will take care of it .. when she tells you all about what they said to her the next day , you can say wow that's sucks but you know what they may be right ...
Most diet pills are made with strong doses of caffeine kind of equal to a pot of black coffee. Under 18 can cause strong side effects such as dizziness, diarrhea, headaches, jitters, hyperactivity, in some extreme cases even seizures, vomiting, stomach pains, ulcers etc. They wouldn't put it on the label if 18 and under wouldn't be as high risks so make her pay attention! Tell her she could have better luck just walking and drinking water!
Don't let all the "marketing skills" of these companies fool you, these diet pills don't work as good as they are proclaimed to be.
Alot of TV adds, with celebrities, to sell anything.
A whole bottle (1 month suppy) of these pills is equivalent to one day of exercise.
Stick to, diet + exercise + commitment. And you will never fail.
