What diet pill work?

Question:
i am 5'8' and weight 240 i need help?
i was thimk about using slimQuick

Answer:
DO NOT use diet pills. Those are extremely unsafe. They can really mess up your metabolism..I took an allergy med that just so happened to have the same things in it as diet pills. I can only eat 300 calories or so now, and I'm very active. It's really hurting me and the sad thing is that it's going to take a lot of work to get back to eating more. I have obviously stopped taking the med and I've just been dealing with my allergies. However, just taking it for a little while has really screwed me up.

Before I even started having allergies, I lost 60 pounds, myself. Just reduce your junk food intake and instead add on fruits and veggies. Also start walking for 20 minutes a day. If you add on 10 minutes of walking every week, you will continue to lose weight. Biking is also a very good exersise once you get used to the walking. It will take you about 5-6 months, but it is worth it and it is much safer this way. You will probobly lose 1-3 pounds a week doing this.

Best of luck!
excercise and diet
moderation is the key, and cutting out sugar. most diets aren't going to do much. any kind of "drinks" tend to make you hungrier later on and then you eat 2x the calories you orginally planned on. Do some research on health foods and get a good cookbook, a magazine to try out is cooking light. start figuring out how many calories you intake a day and slowy reduce that. you should get down to 1800 to maintain weight. To lose with exersice 1500
I have lost 50lbs in 3 months from the shot- Byetta. It controls the appetite and insultin pool. Even, I am not diabetic. Check out the website about it. Amazing result.
do like my aunts do and go for a walk every week and also cut down on sugary foods. this helped them slim down you just have to commit to it.
Hydroxycut is the best but you have to eat healthy, drink lots and water and excercise
Please do not try diet pills because they are not the long term answer and many can cause negative health effects.

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. Get a fitness calculator that you can put on your cell phone and computer. This will allow you to easily calculate this formula, log your daily calorie consumption, and register your physical activities.

*2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/p...

*3) Exercise on most days by doing cardiovascular training and/or resistance training activities.

Read a book or find a certified trainer to make sure your doing all resistance training exercises correctly. A great book to buy that teaches you the resistance training basics is “Weight Training for Dummies”. A superb magazine to buy with excellent resistance training routines that will not get you bored is "Muscle and Fitness". Signup for the free newsletter.

A good book to buy that teaches you the cardiovascular training basics is “Fitness for Dummies”.

*4) Get plenty of sleep. Sleep experts say most adults need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night for optimum performance, health, and safety.

*5) Educate yourself continually on health issues and make a life long commitment to good health. A great free publication is “Dietary Guidelines for Americans 2005”. A superb book to read is “You The Owner’s Manual”. An excellent periodic publication is the “Nutrition Action Health Letter”. A reputable test you can take to measure your biological age is at http://realage.com

Look at all areas where you can enhance your health. For example, make improvements in the quality of the air you breathe. Review outdoor air quality forecasts where you live and get an indoor air purifier. Email me if you want a good indoor air purifier recommendation and if you have other questions.

I tried Hoodia and...
Hoodia has worked for me...and with no side effects.

For all you doubters, here is the prior feedback for another Answers user who followed my advice:

Asker's Rating: *****

**** VERY IMPORTANT NOT TO GET RIPPED OFF ---

#1. Be sure you are buying pure Hoodia...look for the import certificate on the website. No matter the price, if they do not display this, you really do NOT know what you are getting!

#2. Be sure it is 100% Hoodia & not mixed w/other herbs, etc.!!

#3. Keep in mind it stops your hunger pangs…you MUST remember to break your habit to always eat at certain times.

#4. Drink a full 8oz. glass of water with it!
